Given that the revamp is scheduled for after the CU. What makes you assume TH's statement even implies the revemp won't happen. I just do not see it. - it will happen but when is the question, after 17 months SOE's paying customers deserve an answer, a schedule and we deserve to have it followed up on, something they have never done with the smuggler profession.
The revamp is not next on SOE's plate so why shouldnt they use their resource (GreenMarine) working on the next critical item until it comes up on the schedule. - if you read older statements form TH we were to be worked on after CU. But then again he said that about JTL and many many other patches that took us off the schedule and its getting old.
All that TH stated was he was working on JTL and soon will be assigned to a new team. You are reading the negative in a benign statement. We all know the revamp is not next, the loot and CU are.
Lets get in an uproar later if they state the revamp is off or we lose our resource when it comes up on the schedule. - how many moer times do you want to "take it" they have done this to use before and now with loot they have doen it again. Go read "history of Smuggler as told by the Dev's" maybe then you will see why people are pissed off. What is going on now has been going on for 17 months.

I know why people are mad, I am a smugggler also. I am not happy about it.
Just everyone is reading something in those statements that is not there.
You can slam SOE for inaction but be fair. It is not productive to start a thread stating "End of smuggler revamp" when nothing like that was stated by SOE. Stay with the facts of the statement and stop saying "the sky is falling" unless you see it as a fact and not a wild interpretation of a statement.
Would be true if:
1) TH's statement had said that GM would be working the profession revamp. Which HE has mentioned concerning the Combat Upgrade.
2) Statements didn't conflict constantly. Example: No SWG dev was pulled OR WILL CONTINUE to work on JTL after the release. The JTL dev team is separate from the SWG team. Does that mean then that GM is now on the JTL team? If not, why would he need to be polishing it, if there is a separate team?
One does not need a confession to follow the evidence. Do you really think that SOE is stupid enough to say "We were just pulling the Smuggler's legs. We just want them to keep paying for a broken profession we have NO intention of fixing". Do you really think that they would say that?

It's not that bad. I thought it went rather well, all things considered. I wouldn't sweat it too much. We'll see what's what after the CU. That's wait enough to try and wait through. Don't start grinding teeth yet or you won't have any left when they tell us three other professions and the GCW is ahead of us.

You are right. I was embelishing somewhat to make a point. The bugs in JTL are typical of most retail software (which is actually a realy shame). They could have handled it better. I personally would have waited another month to have everything work out better, but what are you going to do.
Anyways, there will be no breath holding here, and i would recommend that no one elses hold thiers because its going to be a while and there is nothing we can do about it.

Especially considering those are just bones they're tossing us, and usually have little weight or meat to them, just like you don't really pay much attention to what a candidate says in an interview from a friendly media source.
