Thread: Feign Death No Longer Works???

What happened to feign Death. I Am a master smuggler, Yesterday i was in the geno cave and feign death siply didnt work. When i hit the shortcut it said "Prepairing to feign Death", nothing else happened .. i stopped fighting back, took a few hits and nothing. i could do /feigndeath as many times as i wanted. Nothing worked. anybody else is having any issues?
Also tried to relod..

I have the same problem alot too. Doesn't really bother me in PvE, as I just spam it and it eventually works. In PvP it REALLY pisses me off when it does this as mere seconds mean alot in PvP. Most solo fights are 30 seconds or less. Good to hear I am not the only one as well

I had this happen to me twice. Once in the geo caves, once on Dantooine. Master smuggler at the time it happened. For the Dant incident, I also didn't get my mission payout.

Um, yeah. Tried to FD, but it din't work. I was the Tusken Observer's breakfast.....
PS- It didn't say I failed, just "You prepare to Feign Death" Did that a few times, blam, I'm allready dead....

This weekend must have been my lucky weekend........
I didn't do anything special.....must have been my "luck". Probably should have gone and sliced stuff this weekend...made more use of that "lucky" streak I had going!

I spent well over 20 hours in the Geo cave Friday/Saturday/Sunday.Only about 6 hours of that was buffed. Went from novice1/1/1/1 to master CH in that time and also accumulated 900K of pistol XP. The moment a Kwi/Kliknik/Geo/Droid aggrod me I hit FD. Was only slain once by a Kwi that hit me before I had a chance to hit my button the whole time I was there. Also, some of themwhereFDswhile standing, others where while I was kneeling.(thought I would mention that because i read somewhere that you could only FD while standing).

It is a possibility that FD Craps out after some lag experience.. Because before i Entered the Geno cave I lagged for like good 5 seconds.. Maybe.. But thats just an Idea and relog didnt help, so who know..

There used to be a bug which would after a period of time cause Feign to stop working until you cloned. Don't know if this was ever found or fixed but the stuff you are describing is it in a nutshell.

FD again crapped Out today. DEVS. plz fix this FD is one of the very few Reasons i keep Smuggler Right now ('till revamp)

Still 4 Days after the First incident I cannot Feign Death !..
I Am not going to kill Myself or have anyone DB me (Just because.. i shouldnt have to.. I AM NOT PLAYING BETA)
Submitted 2 tickets.. no response yet..

Ok the feight death did not happen to me but I did notice that it happens a lot with berzerk. It seems that you need to do it more then once for it to finally work. Maybe it is something to do with the bar or the sequences of fighting and pressing choices is getting mixed up for some reason.

The Problem that causes that to happen is : I logged out while feigning death. Server Restarted. That Caused my feign death not to work. It seems that the Only Way to get it working is to kill myself. I Hope this bug will be fixed some day...
