HAM is based off combat boxes with a max of 3k HAM so any combo of combat boxes can get you that.

I'm loathe to drop pistoleer, I've been master pistoleer even longer than master smuggler, but MBH looks like it'd really fit my style. I like having good defences and versatility, and MBH gives both of those. MS/MP would be great at crowd control, but it looks a bit too lightweight for me.

I agree completely. I am likely going to do BH since it has a lot of high points to it. Lots of weapons, good specials, assault armor, and a good balance of offense and defense. But my character will still be a true smuggler. I will not be playing the role of a BH at all. Once I am master, I will probably never do a BH mission again. I DEFINATELY will not hunt jedi. That's not my character style at all. He is a smuggler not an assassin. MBH will be solely for the combat benefits. That's IF I even decide to do BH. Its still all up in the air.
