Ya sorosub gift I'm stoked. Sure there'll be alot at first but given time they'll die down. In time we'll say, remember them ole surosubs they gave us?

Pull out a Surrosub way in the future, some noob will say, "What a piece of junk!" Then we can say, "Watch ya mouth kid! I've made a lot of special modifications myself!"

Of course all this talk of owning a YT is great, but its only a dream for me. This ship prices are going to be off the wall. It will be a long time before some of us poorer people get our smuggling ship. I am hoping though maybe they could implement something where modifications to ship parts come from slicing them. We could work out deals with shipwrights. I slice some materials for you, you give me a discount on my ship. I doubt that will be an option for sometime though. I am happy that we are allowed to have more than one ship. I am a Rebel and a Smuggler. I've said many times my smuggler duties coem first though. I'm glad I won't have to give up my Rebel standing to fully be a Smuggler now.

You know...I used to have this thought about housing, pets, mounts, speeders, weapons, pick your poison. Lately (I'm half way to slicing 4), I've had quite a few tells asking to slice containers and the occasional weapon. I need the xp, love the interaction, andhate grinding so I don't charge for the containers. I've had tips ranging from 2k up to 20k just from slicing containers. This made me rethink the whole poorer/richer status of my toon. I think I'll be able to get a YT, it may take a little longer for me to do it (being on dial up, Dantooine is a baaaad place for me to go), but I'm planning on getting one. You never know...you might get lucky and suddenly be rolling in the cash, buy the ship and have to go back to missions to pay the bills, as it were. Such is the life of a smuggler, no?? I'd be willing to bet that you get it earlier than you anticipated.

Unfortunately, I seem to remember reading somewhere that the Vet ship will not be able to mount the best parts available, so it'll be more of a "lookie-see" ship than a "come fight" ship.

Aye, it is like a volvo in the sky... not so much an armored limo

YT 1300 all the way with custom mods by yours truly (blooming better be able to mod them as Master Smugglers). Considering that the devs think the SMuggler is a spacey profession, I do wonder why they added it from launch.

Maybe, one day they will give us what we desire, a REVAMP.

Oh yeah, and on TIE vs. YT-1300...

Who says you'll have to chose? You may be able to have one of each.

I hope its a limit of three space vehicles, in addition to three ground vehicles.

Oooooh...so you can have both. Cool. I assumed the columns on the site were for Rebel, Privateer and Imperial...so I CAN have a YT-1300 AND a TIE? YAY!

Now I have to pick which one...do I go with the gorgeous looks of the Interceptor, or the cooly guns on the back of the Agressor...
