Glad you guys found it useful
Fanshot, you forgot Fanshot. *remind*
Arg! everytime I edit the post I loose the clickies for some reason. Also as I recal fan shot is an AoE so I rarely use it for CC because of the probelms it can obviously cause.

Great guide. I'm linking to it on my guild forums.
I'd suggest one minor thing to add. When a mob is conc'd, it will have red rings around its legs. If you can train your group to recognize this they can avoid attacking it. I don't remember what the particle effect for panic shot is, but I remember it being harder to distinguish (a heartbeat thing?)

I thought I'd metionedthe ringsbut ill go back and check. As for Panic shot unfortunatly it has no particle effect attached to it.
Hopefully SOE will ad one at some stage as looking for the icon under the mobs ham bar isnt realy gona happen in the middle of an intence fight.

first off great post
about this fanshot aoe thing..
in most mmorpgs that feature mezzers their aoe mez is their absolute best thing in both Pve and group PvP, now fan shot is not much compared to stopping shot and concussion shot, but if you spend 6 sp into novice commando you get a nifty little thing called launcher pistol, using this weapon with any of the mezzes you will obtain a nifty aoe mezz, this on the other hand is even harder to implent into your group when hunting... oh well just wanted that noted

To my knowledge, the following specials include offensive AoE:
Brawler: Sweep Attack Pikeman: Spin Attack Carbineer: Full Auto Area Pistoleer: Burst Shot BH: Spray Shot Force Weilder: Lightning Area, Force Knockdown, Force Intimidate, Force Throw Lightsabre: Sabre Spin Attack, Sabre Dervish
I can't remember which profession gets Suppression
ShotFire.
Fanshot is missing here.
Suppression Fire is Carbineer
