If I had just started playing SWG and/or a Smuggler I think I too would be just fine with the game. However I've been a Master Smuggler for over two years and in that time we have been lied to and ignored far too much for me to continue.
IF I were new to this I would probably think I could easily wait a few months for the devs to give me a great smuggling system and fix all the issues with slicing (OH, and you forgot that slicing components don't STACK in your list of problems).
However I'm not new and know, from SOEs track-record, that the chances of getting an engaging smuggling system is probably NEVER going to happen.
InnocenseIS bliss. I really wish I could return to that state. Sony you stole my innocense!
Dont be confused by my forum acount, old one got banned this is my new one, I probally shouldent be saying this lol

dude. welcome to 7th grade. w t f.
Before you start laughing and getting allhot headed like you already did think about this for one second. I was trying to compare the mythologies Smugglers can be considered the new age rogue's/ninjas because of the similar ways that they fight. And Jesus Christ I spelt one word wrong calm down there are more important things in life then spelling a few words wrong on an ONLINE GAME FORUM. I' am 100% you at least spelt one word wrong in your life.
An asian man who likes big asses.
or possibly an asian gal with a big booty
Uhura E.

You cant slice a bio-linked weapon, and this new system is nothing compared to the system they had in-concept (which has conviently disappeared).
That's the thing that really pisses me off about the new slicing system.
I mean, I realize "In Concept" is just that - a concept that can change at any given time. But basically all they did was dangle a really cool slicing system out there for us to drool over -then give us a half ass, lazy version of that idea.
"Look here at how cool slicing could be! You'll get a brand new slicing window with a wireframe model of the object you're slicing. There will be a mini-game involved while slicing, rather than just cutting blue and red wires. If something goes wrong during the slice, you have to react and choose the correct resolution to the problem. Not only that, but instead of having to craft and carry knives, clamps, AUKs and WUKs - we are going to replace all of those with one simple 'Smuggler's Toolkit'!"
"Pretty cool stuff, eh? Now here's some rare, looted smuggler tools and an extra optionon your old text window. Shut up and leave us alone for another two years."

Even whith people supplying their own High LvL Slicing Componants, 99.999999999% of smugglers are still charging from 1 Million, to4 Million Per Level Slice.
No wonder thee ain't many peeps comming round for slices...!!!
If Smugglers band together and only slice for themselves (Smugglers) then the rest of the playerbase will start to complain that slicing is overpowered. Might be the only way to get the Devs to either change the drop rate or put in a system that mirrors what was in the In Concept thread.
As for the Smugglers charging millions to slice something? If someone is willing to pay that, then take the credits and more power to them.
