Thread: How did you get your character name? ooops....
Phoenix Orion.
Made the character up back in high school while writinga short story in my favorite fictional universe for English Class.
Got an A+ on that mofo. ![]()
Whodovoodoowedo
Escaped mental patient on radiant running around selling drugs and blowing stuff up....
Takarin -
Was originally supposed to be Lars Takarin, but a Zabrak named Lars didn't quite jive with me. Takarin was supposed to be similar to Tarkin (Grand Moff Tarkin).
Ni pTukk -
I createdNi pwith the intention of becoming a M. ID. "Ni p/ Tuck" is the name of a TV show on FX about plastic surgeons.
Funny thing is - this forum system won't let me write Ni p without the space between the i and p...
Sad...

Same Plexi-Flurry
Well I use to work with labor with people who didn't speak english very well. They would say my name "Same" it took me a bit to figure out they were talking to me. Plexi is one of those prefix or suffix things, I don't speak english well myself
, and I belive it means many,it contrasted Same.
Drib Selim-Sunnrunner
He started as an nov. ent. and is now a Master Musician, among other things, Drib is bird spelled backwards and that is/was Charlie Parkers nickname. Selim is Miles backwards, as in Miles Davis. If you don't know who they are.............

Eacham Graeme
From one on my favorite authors and series of books about the Dorsai, I highly recommend it.
In the beginning...
There was Beta 3 and Oaim... a long time derivation of my first and last names backwards... well, almost: Oaim Evets. Oaim looked like me, acted like me, and was an artisan like me... I got bored of him quickly.
Morguai in Beta 3 was (and still is on Bloodfin, butnever played) the opposite of Oaim Evets. I thought I'd play him as "the real Vibrodagger killer", for those of you who've run BH missions. He was bloodthirsty, sociopathic, and a general pain. Then I toned him down so I could actually play. It started as the real name of the gremlins' in the movie "Gremlins", and got perverted from there till it sounded nasty enough. People keep speaking to him in French, so there might be some meaning for his name in another language. Never checked.
Wampa in the end of Beta 3, and to this day on Flurry, started as a joke in my head and ended up with a decent back story. A big white Wookie, named Wampa by those who cant speak shryliwook (sp?). There's more, but no point in elaborating on a semi-retired character here. I figured, its easier for those who speak basic to use a nick name, so why not use one as the actual name of the char?
Current:
Jnoh D'lengir and Harr Periont. I knew I wanted to play a smuggler. Wampa's MBH quest was nearly done and BH was still as broken as ever. I needed a change and Smuggler just sounded fun to RP for a bit. I got stuck on the idea of "Starwarsizing" John Dillinger in both name and character, and after several pages in a word document, and one or two rejected first names due to other characters, Jnoh D'lengir was born. Mean with a pistol or a set of knucklers, and an opportunist to boot, complete with a modified back story from the original Dillinger.
When the spice trade got slow, I needed to get my own vendors up fast, but didnt want to give up the dream of making Jnoh a tripple master. Did a little research, and found out the name of Dillinger's Lieutenant in the Dillinger gang, Harry Pierpont. A tweak here and there, and a few hundred bucks on a new CD and a 2nd subscription, and Harr Periont was born.
