I pressed the little 'Generate Name' button multiple times until I found one I liked:

Destov Darkmoon - Master Smuggler - Starsider.

I have been using Cryonax for years in mmorpgs. I started using it in UO, which I got on the release day, but it origionally came from an old D&D reference. (version 1.5) One of my friends had a book that listed a bunch of evil D&D monstersin it, and Cryonax was the Evil King of Frost monsters, or something like that, but I thought the name was cool, so I snagged it. I have used it ever since, in DAOC, SWG, FFXI, Earth and Beyond (beta,) and EQ. I want to name my first born son Cryonax, but my wife says she won't let me, go figure.

The name was SUPPOSED to be Vex Stargunner. Vex because pissing people off is what I'm best at and it has a "V" and an "X" in it without sounding like those other stupid, made-up alien names like "Xzyximoph" (pronounced zicky-moff). Stargunner becuse I was gunning for the stars and it sounded Skywalker-y

Anyway, the name was taken so I typed in a bunch of other versions of it- Vexx, Vexs, etc. but I couldn't use any of them either. Frustrated and anxious to play- this is my first character- I typed Tevin JUST to see if the damn game was just not allowing me to use a name and next thing I know I am running around an Imperial vessel shooting thugs.


Now I'm prepared. Once I unlock I'll play Tevin's brother who's name will be from a nick name we give to beta tapes here at work- Kinda how Lucas got the name R2D2 from film reels he used to work with. I won't say the name here because I don't want to log on and not have it available.
Unfortunately, It might sound like one of those cheesy "Xzyximoph" names-lol

For my other characters I use the name generator and switch letters around till I find something I like.
Vovox and Soranos have been a couple of favorites

When I was reading up on Zabraks before I made my character, it said that their names sound kinda middle-eastern. And in Sci-fi/fantasy, the apostrophe is always used for exotic sounding folks. Hence my character's last name, Tr'Bo'akh. For the first name, Obed, I did what I usually do: rip off the name of some obscure Old Testament figure. When King David brought the Ark of the Covenant (as seen by Indiana Jones fans lol) to Jerusalem, he ended up dropping it off at the house of this dude named Obed-Edom for many years. Later I found out that Obed comes from the Hebrew word for slave and is actually the Arabic word for slave. Yeesh...

Ingame name Juzza

My real name is Justin, and my English pal always calls me Juzza.

Since Trandoshans seem to have simple, single names, i.e. Bossk, it was a natural transgression.

Reason: None, really.
