personaly i run around unbuffed 95% of the time. my mind is set high and ther rest of the stats are set at 600 or so. pop a pixie and i have all my stats at near 1000, and use good meds to heal and im good for a 10 minute fight. which is great when im finding troopers to search me, hehe. all in all mulon and pixie are the only usefull drugs. but mulon is only good if you have a buff, cause brandy will bounce your maxed out mind even higher.

people dont look and run from a smuggler but in a fight i do more dammage lowblow/knockdown and let others waste them on the ground, but thats just me. in a single fight i love to be buffed up the wazoo, and then let someone drain my mind and pop a mulon haha. or then pop a brandy or blue milk ive taken out many riflemen like this.

The whole buff thing urks me to no end. Here is a profession that get revival packs. Gets to make the best stims. Which if buffs werent around people would buy. They make the best wound packs. Plus they get cure disease cure poison. In other words before buffs people still used doctors. We the players bought from them and used them on a regular basis. This was a non combat class that was routinely brought on group hunts. Dungeoning, and pvp events. Why did they need buffs in the first place.

Chefs managed to get their product upped over spice. Plus they totally devalued scout foods to boot. Scout foods are only given to dogs. Wait there is more thanks to such fine products as vasarian brandy they even managed to one up entertainers. Which is preferable take two swigs of brandy, or sit in a lagged cantina for five minutes watching and listening to entertainer.

Sadly every time I talk to another player about this they talk about buffs being in the 1000ish range. In my book that is still a mandatory trip to the buff line. Then I talk to them about the ridiculous food, and they say hey I need the vasarian brandy because people murder you with brain damage. True but if there were no buffs and no super food. You could drop some muon, and the guy would bleed himself white trying to strafe or eyeshot you incapped.

Anyone else feal that the out of whack buffs make the game I do not know pointless. When I can waste ten graul maulers at the same time. I know something is wrong. When a tka can fist a krayt dragon to death I know something is wrong. When the big event for a day is an instanced dark jedi fight in a mineing outpost I know something is wrong.

Dont slam docs too hard, that is a rough profession to make money in initially. I was a doctor for 10 months so I know.

There are only two ways for a doc to make money, buffing and selling meds to those docs that don't want to craft (like buffs) with a huge resource gathering expense.

When the CU comes they will be losing their primary source of income and thats going to hurt. Lots ofdocs will drop and we will need to support the ones we have left.

I hear ya, while Ive never been a Doc I understand the lost of income (most smugglers do). They need to find a balance though because everyone in the gameis basically forced to rely onDoc buffsand that's just as bad as killing off its usefulness.

I agree ana-mo-cara.

Do you know anyheroin users? The ones I am familiar with just lay around drooling on themselves. And if they go without it, they are complete basket cases. Speed freaks are where the real action is. Paranoid. Psychotic. Totally pumped frull of adrenaline at all times. And dust heads. Get a speed freak and a guy hopped up on angel dust to fight it out. Now that's entertainment. But heroin addicts....nah.

Yeah i spenta night outside Yosemite in my car and woke up to find one of the local tweakers outside my window being paranoid and psychotic around 4:30 in the morning. and yes, i left

Hey now guys, look. I do not want to do anything illegal here.
But I would kill somebody, in front of their own mama, to get a ten speed.
And if anybody testifies against me, I'll gouge their eyes out

The docs have intentionally generated buff dependence. If it werent for the doctor buffs getting jacked up which brought foods for the ride also. More players would atleast have novice medic to buy stim bs. Plus they would go through them that much faster. Plus players would need to buy more woundpacks. You have to heal wounds faster when your not buffed. You can ill afford to walk around with 20 health wounds. The buffs let players wear super composite armor. Again wound reduceing. So the truth be told if docs can only survive off of buffing its the fault of docs.

By the way I still have medic on my bh. I can tell you finding a decent stim vendor is a wonderful moment for me. Doctors will just need to learn to go back to what they did before. Stim Bs. Wound packs. Healing. Rezzing. I had plenty of doctor pals before buffing came on, and these guys got on pretty well. hell one of them was coughing out stim bs 394s a month after launch. If they are still fiending for another product then they should push for medic disease, and poison treatments. Make them rather weak but workable. Right now short of going to town a camp is the only real choice, and you have to spend half an hour in ones for some of the nastier diseases. Put it a few boxes up in first aid.

The point is if doctors werent buffing medic would be more widespread. Plus more people would take them on hunts for the rezs since without buffs alot more deaths would occur.

Anyone remember when medic was always asked for in large hunts, and people were happy to find a entertainer in their group?

Enough is enough though the devs should allow BF healing in camps there is no strategic reason why not.

The problem is the majority of SWG players are only in it for bragging rights "I killed 50 imps today! Man I am so better than you!"

People should RP more! It would give them goals other than getting more cash for better weapons and armor to kill more people.

No really man, I PvP because I love to interact with other players in a challenging way. Combat is a form of communication itself, and one that I would love to speak fluently. I also like to roleplay, but not in a stiff, cardboard fashion. Not all PvP'ers are about their egos. They are normal people just like you and me, lol.

HA! i know those guys too. Random Crackhead walking down the street in broad daylight carrying a consumer electronic device that his "buddy" just "gave" him.But the thing is, he doesnt really need it so, since you look like a nice guy (readtarget)he's willing to sell it to you for 10 bucks. Although, that happened a lot more in Philly.
