Increased diversity! Who would have ever believed it.
This seriously excites me, since they removed all the crafting, or crafting diversity from my two masters.

It seems that on TC the sliced weapons are "jamming" extremely fast.. way to fast making this new slicing system useless and no one would want a weapon sliced. Has anyone gotten to test armor slicing? Does armor have a chance for "jamming" or "failing" like weapons? And if they do has anyone tested to see if armor breaks down as fast as weaons do?

It's probably just accelerated for testing purposes. Do you honestly think it's intended to be like that?

Regardless, be sure to state in the feedback thread that the jamming occurs way to quickly, as you never know

Oh, I will... if I can ever get in to test. WIthout some blue froggies to play with, that isn't going to happen. Working as much as I do, I don't have the time to grind up another Smuggler on TC.

we need to see about more things on weapons to slice cuase with what we ahve now itappears that we can max out speed and damage everytime. We could mebbe get an accuracy bonus slice, a condition slice, and perhaps a very small range slice (no more than an extra 5 m) ?

I like the new system. It just repseced to smuggler slicing 2 to check it out. I'm going to be able to figure out what's good for what weapons relatively quicky as I pvp alot and will know what people want. I can see this as a good money maker for me. I'll be charging more than most but I'll be able to offer advice to my customers or what they should be spending the slicign points on. I can already see most armour being done in Armour break defence then in deflection.
This like enchanced resilience would be more useful on the field. You notice your armour is below 50% (not likely during a fight I know)and you don't have a spare set or repair kit. Well you quickly do this to jimmy your armour back to usefulness.
most weapons getting boosted in speed and damage. Critical isn't that great 3/100 shots do double the damage, great I mean really, I already get that from critical shot and it's not that great when I do get it. Same with the armour harderning, can't see it being as useful as the others.
PS anyone know how base slicing is effected?

i love the idea of being able to slice accuracy and range. but i really think we need to be able to slice our SAC... i mean...

While a SAC slice would be cool, it could create imbalance. Really I just want more things to on weapons

I don't think a SAC slice would be any more unbalancing than the speed or damage ones...
3 levels, 5% each, 50% customization.
Using all3 levels, that would take a 110 SACweapon down to 94.
Would take an 80 SAC weapon down to 68.
In the first example, that's still a bit on the high side. In the second example, 80is probably already low enough thatrunning out of action is not a huge concern.
But really the bottomline is if they only leave these 3 things to slice, everybody will put 50% into speed and 50% into damage.

it doesn't work like that I don't believe.
you get a 100% customersation.

If you want tier 4 you need to spend 5%+15%+30%+50% = 100%. The totals don't add up so Teir 4 uses 100% customerisation and gives a 10% bonus. Well that's what I ready from mankind notes on the email on TC.
