So before this hits live, should we take all our WUK/AUK out of the crates? That's gonna fill a lot of inventory space...

I sure hope THAT gets fixed! I have over a hundred crates of these damn things left over from when I was slicing!
Does ANYONE have enough storage space to remove them all from crates first? That is insane, I hope it's a simple oversight.

Could be intentional to prevent people from mass producing and stocking thousands of AUKs before the patch which would somehow defeat the purpose of having to loot them. You can convert some singles to get you started...then you're on your own. I kinda like that solution if it's intentional.
Just look at what happened with the CURB...Weaponsmiths had stocked on thousands of pre-patch components because they know they would convert to something better than what they could craft after the CURB. Don't want that to happen again.

Intentional or not it's very short sighted. I've got about 7 crates of Upgrade Kits and Knives (had a lot more, but I've been letting my supply dwindle in case they changed them and they became useless). Guess this means I'll have to get a large house and empty the contents of the crates in the floor...

A move like that will *only* benefit the people who read the forums and exploit the situation by pulling everything ahead of time. Myself, I'd be surprised if I ever have more then a partially used PLK "pulled" and in my pack. The rest is pulled on demand.

hmmm are PLK and CLAMPS useful or should I just bin them with the rest of my crated stock?
Also you'd be amazed at how much storage you can have.
+10x1x100 = 1000 from housing.
+100 from bank.
+5x10 storage droids.
+130 inventory space
Can you still place stuff in storage droids then drop them in your house?
if you want more go up the artisan vendor tree for an extra 250 storage.
Now I cleared out a lot of crap in my time. Go through all your inventory. Do you really need those lvl 2 ship components? no well sell them to a SW for 1000cr or to the ship dealer at the SP entrances. All those crystals you've amde into a nice pyrmid? feck it they're no use to you why not donate them to a guildie Jebi. That's a crap load of used worthless weapons, armour and half used crates of food your got lying around you house, ditch them.

The new system obviously has drawbacks and benefits - either way, I just can't bring myself to give a toss.
I made my money whoring my time out to Smiths, and they'llhave todrag me back into being a service industry kicking and screaming
Anybody got the new slicing numbers?
