Well I have to do something while I'm at work.

lol...
Well...I plan to see the first midnight showing of Ep 3...
However, I'm not gonna start standing in line NOW for it. I'm also not gonna get dressed up in a costume for it. My geekness only extends so far.
I'll also be driving9 hours the day before, since I'm actually going to see it in Georgia with some friends I met online 3 years ago...I'm actually looking forward to hanging out with them more than I'm actually looking forward to seeing the movie. It should be quite a group if everyone shows up who says they're coming...

You'd think at least SOME of them have heard of Fandango?
Actually, they have a very interesting way of doling out tickets. The more hours you log in line, the farther up the line you go.
Also, it's tradition at Grauman's...you need to buy your tickets at the box office only for 1st showings (as far as I can remember.)

I'm guessing we're talking about the people waiting in line over here in Caliat Grauman's Chinese Theatre?
You can call their payphone, 323-462-9609...it's right where the line is.
rofl. Quite tempted to do that
...although the international call charge is somewhat of a disincentive..

Wanna know how to get a rise off of these guys in line really fast? Drive up, have a friend lean out the window, and yell "STAR TREK SUCKS!" while flipping them all off. They'll be more pissed that you got Star Wars confused with Star Trek than the rest of what you said.

Just don't fall out of the car window and get gang-beaten by a pack of rabid nerds as your fate closes in on you...

This reminds me of when Triumph the Insult Comic dog when out and made fun of these people for the showing of Episode II. I think the funniest part was when he got a guy dressed as Spock to come out and flip them all off.

No, it's probably a CSR reminding them of the "mass gathering policy"

Yep same here, Lucas must be talking to the masses to try and get them to disburse.

What I absolutely can't get over is the fact that, rather than waiting in line, we can use that newfangled movietickets.com thingie. Because, after all, a REAL SW geek would be at home playing with their Star Wars toys...
