DF4 It was working 100% last night now its just flat out doing nothing

I only have the first box of smuggler pistols and I've only failed twice out of maybe fifty times?

I just got done fd like 10 about 5 minutes ago at the Warren... Never failed.



And out of the hundreads of times I've fd over my smuggling course, I've only failed once.

Feign Death is broken for me as well. Infact, i'd just come online to post about it before I saw this thread


I have the same problem as the original poster. After I trigger Feign Death, I get the message saying, "You prepare to Feign Death" but then nothing happens. It's not like i've failed to Feign Death because the message, "You have failed to Feign Death" does not come up.


I've been trying it for the past half-hour over and over again but it doesn't work

That's the solution several people have had to do.


Deposit everything in the bank, insure what you can't and go die. Clone and see if it fixed it.

Getting death blown is currently the only immediate fix to this issue. Like someone above said, put everything in the bank then go and get yourself killed. You should be able to feign just fine afterwards. I've heard that a server reset fixes the issue also, but I doubt you would like to wait until tomorrow to find out.

Heh. If my /feigndeath doesn't take, then a deathblow is usually headed my way anyway...

no feign death is working. i have tried for about an hour and i have not gotten to feigndeath on pve its not working as intended

It isn't working because you and your friends go LD when feigned. This causes a bug with FD not working right.


Serves you right for using it to avoid bounty hunters, then going LD because you deliberately avoid the risks that were designed into the Jedi profession.


It is made to be a tough profession, and people using FD as a lame crutch get zero sympathy from me.

I made a macro and it works every time.


/ui action clearCombatQueue

/feigndeath


Try that, unless you have a bug I'm unaware of.
