I think you'll find the problem with the entire Senses quest system goes deeper than even us.
Quest 1: medic based
Quest 2: Survey
Quest 3 : Survey
Quest 4: Medic
now the proffessions who can gain FS senses XP in order of % trees: Entertainer, Dancer, Musician, Image Designer, Politician, Merchent, ?Creature handler?, Scout, Ranger,Medic, Combat Medic, Doctor, Artisan, Smuggler, Bio-engineer
Now before anyone cries foul my point isn't that we're near the bottom, that shouldn't matter because we earn the xp like anyone else. My point IS that the entry quests are unbalanced. The entertainer classes are the largest contributers of Sense based xp in the game and yet they are completely unrepresented and penalised for being what they are for 2 reasons.
1) They have no way of gaining entry to any of the Sense quests, like other proffessions smuggler and scout included
2) The only type of FS xp they can gain is Sense based, again like scout ... at least merchents fall back on the fact that they have novice artisan as a pre-requisite.
Another example is scout ... i class i now feel most sorry for. Again all their xp is sense based and their FS skill is in reflexes ???? which is a combat based skill.
To top this all off the fact that treating patients is somehow a primer for learning the ability for tricking "the weak minded" into doing things for you is quite frankly insane.
But enough criticism, here comes the psitive construction:
For a set of quests that are more meant to be seen as content rather than gates to skills ... you'll find the true gates are the restrictions on quests per phase and time between phases ... the sense quests are uncommonly restrictive, so heres my idea,
Make the Persuasion quest social based! ie conversations! this will make both us, smugglers, and entertainers happy. Who here has tried the cries of alderaan 3 quest where you had to infiltrate Jabba's caravan and say the right things to progress. Imagine doing that in context with Aurilla's needs! maybe it involves brokering a ceasefire with mallichaes horde, or perhaps brokering a deal with a hutt in order to get badly needed medical supplies sent in "under the radar". For merchents, Politicians, entertainers and smugglers this would be a perfect type of quest to play, and fun too!
It just seems unreasonable that artisans gain 6 FS paths they can unlock with their base skills, any combat class can do 8, medics 2 and yet scouts (admittedly need a combat class to be effective but how many have a master combat tagged on?) smugglers (again some sort of elite combat is needed)and entertainers have 0. Plus this new way makes sense! no pun intended
My second suggestion is to either make wilderness survival sense and have scout & trapping xp reflex or to swap the survival tree from reflex with the luck tree since i could see luck being in either, but survival is silly being in reflex.
I know this was a long post and not entirely smuggler based but being a master smuggler who'd love to be able to actually take a FS skill that fits in with the proffession i'm gonna post it here anyway

good idea? bad? or indifferent?
