I actually meant to quote all of Thomo's post which after reading it made me realise that , the long term Smugglers do have a reason to be more upset than most. Those who have been with the profession a long time (unlike myself) have obviously been through more nerfs than I realised along with the lack of love and, for want of a better word, lies, from SOE.
Folk like me though, who have been here a relatively short time really have, IMHO, very little reason to complain.

A wookiee didn't have that much protection before the armour came out. I think it was added to *try* and balance things out.

Mickos - if you want to know the history, look up "history of the smugglers as told by the devs" by electricnomad. He (until he quit the game, anyway) chronicles all the promises and whatnot this profession has been through. Now realize, none of those promises came to pass; or at least, a small teeny tiny percentage did. It will inform you as to why there is so much anger in this forum.
It really should be required reading for any new smuggler. It might save them a ton of time and frustration.

It's all good man, I misunderstood what you were saying really.
Now whether you're new to Smuggler or not, or even are a Smuggler or not, you have just as much reason to complain about the way this profession has been treated. The abilities and things that you now miss out on are a problem. The things you should have been able to do by now are a problem.
Like Shrendyc said, read through the history thread. You'll probably have to go through the whole thing since things have happened since EN was here last. It'll shed some light on the things that you are now having to deal with and what many of us have been dealing with for a long time.

i'm sorry, i know this isn't helpful,butwhen i first read this thread i misread the title as "lets do it like wookies". needless to say i was a little scared, but my inherent curiosity one out in the end. 
when will we see wookies on the discovery channel?
