We sorta got compensated... we now have the removed fp buying cap... but yet when the nerf bat "glowstick"startsswinging,our profession is usually the one getting cut to pieces.

And exactly when is the end Havok? Next year? 2 years from now? Never? Meanwehile smuggler keeps getting gimped over and over? Nah man I'm not gonna sit back and do nothing, join the resistance man, fight the power!

Yeah, seriously. It wasn't fixed to help Smugglers, it was fixed to help GCW participants get their stuff easier. Smuggler was purely incidental. If Chefs bought faction, it woulda been a "Chef" perk. Yeah, Chefs buyign faction makes no sense--that was intentional.
