Wes Beldin: Yes, Satan? Oh, I'm sorry, sir. You sounded like someone else.
Mr. Stangl: Never mind the wisecracks, smuggler...
[coughs in Wes' face]
Mr. Stangl: ... you owe me respect.
Wes Beldin: Mr. Stangl, I told you - you're my first priority. I'm on a very big topic right now. Check this out.

Wes Beldin: That's a true good idea. Some new guy made it. He's offering a great idea for player based smuggling. As soon as I work out the details, you're next.
Mr. Stangl: I heard glowies in there, Beldin. I heard 'em again this mornin' scratchin' around.
Wes Beldin: I never bring my friends there with me, sir.
Mr. Stangl: Oh yeah? What are all these documents for?
Wes Beldin: Fiber.
ROFL, oh why....why can I not 5 star this post?!

I know they stated something in the past about terms for Correspondents. If that is the case, then there's a few that they need to move along. If they're going to shove these guys out the door, there's a few that need to follow them.Conspiracy theory or not, you can't deny that the willingness of Blue Glowies to post their dissenting views (and I'm not really talking about Caylin here) at least made their decision easier. One finaly note, I thought the Blue Glowies are in the Sandbox. The Sandbox docs are in the C-Forum. What the hell are they doing now?
same as the rest of us in the cu forum. Absolutely nothing
I think the timing is horrible, and I see no reason why it was announced publicly in all honesty, but that is SOE's decision. It should have remained as is until the CU was over, or at least 30 days from today for those who retired some time ago instead of an immediate cutoff (which I still have access so it might actually be that way, but the way it is worded makes me think many of us will lose access today).

From what I've seen, I think you have 30 days from this announcement Ryutek (really wish it hadn't come to this
).

Honestly I view this as a mixed blessing. I can't give my reasons, but this is a step in making a larger, more difficult decision that much easier for me...

I agree completely with the highlighted sentence.
They have instituted a new policy, which is to retire a correspondent after 6 months, and I could see that it might get pretty crowded on the Correspondent's Forum... and more folks under NDA andprivvy to inside info= more chances of someone breaking the NDA and talking...
BUT -- of ALL TIMES to start this new policy, this seems the WORST. They really should wait until the Comuprebatgradebalance has been released rather than oust all those knowledgeable voices now. Man... LOL. I keep being astounded at what seems to be SOE's lack of business, community and software management accumen.
On the other hand, it sounds like there is some rough stuff going on behind the scenes. So... perhaps there is more to this story that would make it more understandable to those of us who make up the rank and file...
