Now all the Devs need to do is make that promised fix of smuggler tool crates before JTL in a 10.xx minipublish, just like TH promised us they would...
Yeah, right.

i still can't imagine Tiggs referred to Jenkins Dialog as an hotfix and don't talk about fixing an exploit...
She may have a kind of priority list which doesn't include smugglers talk. Or maybe she stills doesn't know smuggler is an ingame profession? Anyone else noticed she stopped passing in professions forums?
EDIT after checking : looks like it's really impossible at the moment, good enough for me, but even CSR aren't aware of it.
Now the question handles : do we still report people wnating us to try or do we just say them that they can't cheat anymore?

It's a catch 22 in situations like this. No mention was made due to the nature of the fix. If we post information regarding the exploit then we are alerting those that didn't know about it.If the fix goes in and doesn't completely fix the exploit then we now have even more information out there on how to get around the system. Glad to hear the fix worked though, I will pass it on to the team

I'm glad it worked out. This is good news for us smugglers. Every journey starts with a single step.
(and boy, is our journey a long one)

I'm glad that this finally got fixed. Now some of us legit smugglers might get some slicing business back.

BTW Tiggs --
A patch note that said:
Smugglers:
-- Power-up slicing no longer possible.
would have been sufficient.
Those who knew what it was would have known immediately, those who didn't probably would have asked, but you wouldn't have had to answer.
And most importantly, those of us who cared would have been able to provide immediate feedback on this, instead of complaining about the single patch note that we did see. Trust me...if had still been working, and that patch note appeared, you would've had a Smuggler in your feedback thread to let you know about it.

Dreven, agreed. That would have been nice. But hey, at least the sucker's fixed. One down, 99,999,999 to go.

Or even just:
Smuggler:
"fixed known slicing exploit/issue"
no worries though thanks for the fix!
