Thread: GRRRRRRRRR!!!! Who else is furious over being locked out of the CU?
Not really sure what you're getting at, and i'm certainly not badmouthing devs, but who needs who to do large scale testing? how about respecting the players giving the gift of time to help them get a product out the door? test servers aren't a gift, they're a business tool. once they stop having a need for this tool it'll go away. simple as that

for all the standing around, or pvp'ing, or whatever other nonsense goes on they still make enough of a contribution as a whole to fill the business needs.

You might want to hang out in a forum and get a feel for it before you post like that. We don't do that here. This is nither, the BH forums, nor the {insert-galaxy-name-here} forum ... this is the smuggler forum. We've bonded through 2 years ofsuffering ... if one of us wants to vent we endure it for their sake and move on.

I call it aggressive server negotiation. I don't take no for an answer. They may say they want you to 'wait' but what actually works, if it starts giving you that 'connecting to galaxy' garbage. Hit escape and try again. It normally only takes me a few tries before it lets me back in.

The statement you highlighted taht Rahzaar wrote is actually a very good statement. I have a 2 guildies who were part of the Sandbox team. One of them is still loading into the server as we speak. Since SOE decided against a closed beta, what good was it to be on the sandbox team? From my understanding other people in the sandbox have been complaining on the CU boards because they can't get on. And they were chosen for this testing, yet they can't test.
Now it's exciting that its open beta, but I for one would have rather seen the sandbox team actually test what they were picked for. I would like to get in, but I gave up after 30 mins of seeing the connecting to the galaxy screen. But we don't need ppl to jump on other people for expressing valid concerns. So go crawl back under the rock that you came out of.
