yes to all. i enjoy crafting spice, and it would certainly be cool to have different quality of spice. it would encourage more sales and use of lower tier spices. sure, some people HATE the idea that a smuggler crafts the spice and that they should just deliver. but that makes me think they might as well also take away slicing of weapons, armor and terminals. then all smugglers could do is have more "hiding spots".

Should the quality of the above spice be dependant on the level of smuggler creating it?

Where crafting spices is conserned i dont really mind one bit if we make em or not. I understand and realise that as Smugglers we shouldnt be crafting them only Smuggling them but id sooner see them made by us than handed out from npc's. Should spices ever get revamped to the point where its a lucrative buisness option id be more than happy to craft them. better that the credits go into my pocket than some random npc hehe. I just think its a shame that as a Proffession we seem to a mish mash of other professions failed ideas and skills. Spice crafting clearly belonged in another profession but was probably placed into smuggler when the devs realised we had hardly anything to do.

1. No - Hated producing it and it doesn't fit the Snuggler Profession, maybe combat Medic of sorts as sort of a quick "battelfield heal" type use or something. I agree we should be smuggling the product.

2. No - Our level of skill should determine it, not a quick fix prduct

3. No - Same reason as #2

Why would smugglers not be able to make spice?

Not only do drug dealers 'smuggle' their product to its destinations, they also produce it. Some are better known than others for the quality of their product. Which is why it should be expiremental, and just like docs or other craftsmen should have improvable chances with port wine and skill tape attachments and the like. Not to equate smugglers with drug dealers...however the smuggler IS a part of the seedier side of StarWars. I suppose that could give Role Players a role as well to 'play' that altruistic smuggler that refuses to deal in spices.

To say that smugglers should get their items to 'smuggle'from npc's doesnt strike me as a good idea. That would require that all spices be the same quality (not likely in the real world) to be stackable (game mechanics definately play a part). Otherwise just like the awful sith ore it would be a storage nightmare. Which is why it should be craftable with different qualities.

To me any 'profession' in the game should have its own source of revenue and skill levels which is the very definition of a'profession'. Lets face it, slicing really doesnt create huge profits. It would stand to reason the source of income should come from creating and supplying product, thus smuggling our own spice along with other npc generated 'product'.

1) No we should not been able to make spices, this shoud be taking from missions (The harder thte better of the spice.).

2) See 1.

3) No, never ever pls. I see smuggler as a non crafting profesion. I would prefer to do a set of missiosn for jabba and then getan "special slice equipment" that last for 10 slices and adds a 5% over the real result. Slice

As i see it if we gete experimentation, food / spices that improves slices we will become a crafting profesion and we will have to look for resources / manage production etc instead of smuggling.

I would much rather be smuggling spice than crafting spice. Get rid of that worthless tree altogether andreplace it with one that will allow us todo what our title says...

With that being said, they probably aren't going to change the fact that we are spice crafters. So - in answer to your question... I wouldn't mind if they allow you toexperimentation on spice crafting, just as long as they don't includeresource quality. I was a master armorsmith for a while andit was pretty cool except for the finding materials rat race. I hated going around looking for the best spawnsand searching the bazaar if I couldn't find them. Iwould waste half of my playing time just doing that.

Dammit Jim, I'm a smuggler, not an artisan!!

IF we make spice (which we shouldn't, but that's another matter), experimentation is fine, but should not be based upon resource quality. We're Smugglers, we shouldn't have to spend our time and money on hunting up the best Flowers to put in our Factories.

I agree with you, however, if we are to be saddled with spice I'd like to be able to experiment.

I use wine when I play my smuggler...lot's of it. It's the only way I can tolerate what is getting to be a very very bad MMORPG experience.

Smuggler by its very nature is a very flexible profession, or should be. We should be jacks-of-all-trades, not that I mean make weapons and armor or houses etc.

I mean we rely on our experiances and knowledge to use things around us to our benefit. Thats why modifying armor and weapons makes sense. What doesnt make sense it that we cannot do anything to our own ships / ships components.

I believe that if a smuggler so chooses they should have the option to make spices. I dont do it often but occasionally. I would love to be able to experiment on it.

Spices are in the game, we are the ones with the ability to make them so obviously I believe we should be able to improve on them.

I would like to see in addition to experimentation, the ability to add BE additives, making some super spices.

Smuggling as we know it (dictionary definition) doesnt exist in the game, further it will never and can never exist. There exist no commerce in the freight sense in the game. In order to "Smuggle" you need smuggelable freight. You never have to go through customs, or tolls in the game so its impossible to smuggle.

En leu of actual smuggleing we got the skill set we have now.

So in answer to the first questions.
