And you're dead wrong. I did a tier4 black sun duty and got 2.
) With the changes to concussiona and panic shot the place should be easily takable by a group. I'll be running a group down there next week to test.

I did 3 duties and nada.. must be to do with the server ya on...
I'm on Eclipse,and I converted my two crates of Upgrade kits (1 weapon and one armor) I got a Finely tuned kit and a simple kit. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what they are going to charge for slicing now as its a lot more complex? Also I was thinking how much would smugglers pay for componants? If we could get a base price list together we could keep the price at a sensible level to stop stupid undercutting etc. Any ideas?
Let me put this slicing component drop rate into perspective.
I ran about 20 black sun duty missions over the last 3 days, because I noticed someone mentioned that they obtained slicing components from them.
I recieved NO slicing components, but looted 2 Black Sun Ace helmets.
Yeah, nice 'Plan B' devs. *snickers*
I'm sick of this SOE evercamp mentality. With the treatment most professions are getting lately (especially crafters and entertainers), and the alleged 'in concept' articles that never go further than the forum post (*cough* slicing min-game... *cough* smuggler revamp announced well over a year ago), SOE had better just rename the game Jedi Knight Online, and stop the pretenses, smoke, and mirrors.

Ran through the DWB last night with a good group, killing everything up to and including the overlord. No loot drops (apart from the stabilizer that always drops from the overlord). Hardly conclusive though, since the DWB very rarely drops any loot at all.
Nope, all Shock Absorbent Padding is the same, also true for Powered Motivators.
They are both needed components for higher level slices... However now, all slices (from master Smuggs) are identical in quality. Hence no need or point in stats.
