Ya people like that rule. Now for the opposite side of the fence 
I had a rebel, who wanted to go Imperial. I charge a premium on top of the usual 130cr/fp to convert someone since.. well.. they're rebel. I charge a further premium to rebels who have chosen to make known to the server that they are idiots and would be better off playing in traffic. Thats where this particular guy fell in (the kinda guy who kites into a battlefield during a pvp encounter, the kinda guy who will dot you up then head to the nearest lake to let you try to 3 cap while he waits it out in safety... you know what I'm getting at). I gave him my price, he counter offers. I'm generally willing to negotiate, but not with tools like this. Every time he counter-offers I keep coming back with the rate I gave him the first time. He goes on to tell me about what a valuable asset he would be to the empire and blah blah blah. He might be a good fighter, but no Imperial I knew could stand being around him. On top of this I'm in contact with the 2 other known major fp dealers on our server so if I wanted to really make this guys transition difficult, I could. This was all about 3 weeks ago. I saw him 2 or 3 nights ago.. and he's still rebel What a shame.

Yeah the leader of that guild really hates me. not sure why tho. But I got my revenge. My boyfriend was a BH at the time and he went and killed the guys girlfriend's Jedi.

I think they DO realize and are trying to liquidate their stocks in order to capitalize. Getting all their existing armor sliced and sold at a slightly lower profit right before the CU, and then selling new armor to those same customers AFTER the CU makescurrent armorless desireable is actually a pretty shrewd (devious?) business plan.
I'll take their business...before and after the CU!

Well as far as straight money goes I made 750k over a weekend slicing for a WS restarting his business. Man that was nice.
I got REAL lucky whenI started playing, I got hooked up with a WS and now I'm his only slicer. I only charge him 2k per, and i only slice for him a couple times a week atm, BUT I get free weapons. Anything I want. All my weapons are custom made and high end, I dont know how much thier all worth, but with two combat toons, its nice not to have to go buy weapons.

Sence the Tef's have gone away ive noticed myself being Stalked by jedi, there everywhere now and more brave then ever. Cause they realise that most people arnt combatants, so that they can pick us off one at a time. anyways Im an imperial, and standing in bestine and i get a

i buff up and pull out my armor and a lightsaber resist PSG, im going to Fing die. i get to the hill and the client is still there no sign of the L337 J3d1. so i pop some of the gungan food, some dodge food, some brandy, and some pistol mod stims, and some pixy.
HAM is now at 5500/5000/4000
i go special forces and the jedi runs out of the building he is in, FUN TIME
i hit my pistols macro that activates my DOT pistols, which are 6 geo pistols each with a mind poison desease or fire of over 100 for 60s.
and start kiting 5 of 6 of the DOTS actualy hit and stick, andthe jedistarts running i pull out my heavy geo 2.1 200/395 his mind is half gone, just a few more seconds and i lowblow him, down he goes dots tick again, his mind is at about 1/4, /lastditch switch to DE-10 2.8 250/425
he gets up and is like "No"

LOL, I charge LESS for conversions to Rebel, because, well, they're seen the light

My sig used to say "Once made equal to man, woman becomes his superior" but my boyfriend didn't like it and made me change it and my friends thought I was going batty.

What a cheap jedi trick, of following you to do a fp sell. Yous should of told your customer about the jedi being in the same guild as each other. Of course its griefing when you kill him, but its not when he kills you...

Good story! Yeah I've gotten the occasional armor/weapon whale. Had one that was all about the VK's. She had an endless supply it seemed. Not only did I make several hundred thousand off her and her armor and vk fetish, she let me KEEP the speed sliced and low damage sliced ones she didn't want, which I sold on the bazaar for 6k a pop.

My best sale is probably selling a NSEL(nightsister energy lance) to someone for like 5.7 million.
I have done a decent bit of slicing but mostly for friends and I dont usually charge them.
