When I am Last Ditching with a 655 DE10 on someone in PvP and not noticing the HAM go down more than a butthair's width, THAT'S when I say we are at level one now.

It is pretty simple.

I can see it now, riding across the desert on a swoop, unarmored cause armor is for tanks and nukes, not us scoundrals, for we have simple tricks and nonsense(serious, not sarcastic). A load of glittersim spice in our pack, from Jabba to thugs (maybe with a "With Love" tag). All of a sudden, Bounty Hunter comes outa nowhere, probably from behind something and we/I/You weren't paying attention to the radar. As you leap of your swoop bike and dodge a few carbine shots (by dodge I mean luck intervenes and lets the shots that hit do little dmg as they are just burns, kinda) as we/I/you land we draw our pistol (I'm gonna be super crowd man with BH 0/0/4/0) and think, "Damn, I realy should stop accepting Valarian's creds." The BH and us/me/you trade a few shots and things are looking bad for us/me/you, as it apears we/I/you have gotten a new black sweater with lttle flame pictures. "You are a n00b Smuggla b-atch!" The BH shouts as his 1 on 1 skills are becoming evident. We/I/you come to the conclusion that death is certain, along with some more 1337 speak. We/I/you dirt shot1 the BH, effectively blinding him, then afterseveral seconds the BH meets crotchshot 2 and falls down in pain, unable to fight, but still more than capable of dusting you. As you ride off into the sunset, to give Valarian's goons some treats for more than that slug could give you, A BH screams across the desert on agony, for his crotch and pride are crispy, at the hands of someone weaker physicaly, but not mentaly (I do not intend to offend any players inteligence, hence the 1337 stuff). CU and Smuggler revamp for the win!

But thats more to do with the buffs, armour, and stupid amounts of defense stacking, isn't it?

A Rifleman, with a similar statted weapon spamming headshot 3 would have exactly the same result. Trust me, I know from experience.

I just gave up Rifleman, and I know from experience that I could cut through armor like butter with my T21.

Again though Nicholas,
How does the bounty end? With either the Smuggler or BH dead only? If so a Smuggler/Pistoleer combo would be a failure at actually smuggling since there is no way to end the bounty with the Smuggler alive.
To successfully smuggle...in a world were death only ended the bounty... there would only be on reasonable combination; Smuggler with a damage profession like rifle.
This I think is utterly rediculous.
Either a Smuggler will need an alternate way of ending a bounty or the whole thing is broken IMO.

All we need to be able to do is put enough distance on our stalkers to get to our ships and get the hell outta dodge as fast as possible. If you end up on the terms, the mission shouldn't disappear until the bounty has been collected. With this in mind, and with changes in armor encumbrance modifying movement speed, updates to line-of-site and changes to effective firing distances and needing to stand still while executing specials, combined with our mezzing abilities, escaping sounds like a very reachable outcome.

5 Stars. Spinning, it will have to end with a smuggler's death eventually. To top it off, from a balance perspective, BH's cannot be a class that can be both matched in damage, yet vulnerable as hell to this mezzing crap from another profession.

BH's have the power. We have the control. Power is nothing without control (I saw that on a high-profile sports tire ad).

ding! plus I would hope that when the bounties are introdused there is a time limit on them. that way our evasion skills really have a chance to shine
