Dont nerf last ditch just ask the devs to make slapping a stormie count as a normal incap, Im pretty sure last ditch doesnt work right after being incapped.

I wasn't on my jedi for one. Secondly I suggest that to use last ditch you must be in combat first not initiating combat. Well I guess /unstick into your houses and killing who ever is a jedi is ok to? OR how about I use an exploit to break into your house and steal all your items? They think it's not exploits either. Here's the thing. While overt a smuggler can do this as initiating combat. I haven't seen last ditch ever miss. Add a "to hit" modifier to it. It shouldn't be a permanent "I Win" button.

First off bub, learn to read. There is all sorts of posts here explaining exactly what LD is. It is a true last ditch, it will not work unless you are close to death, and then it is not gaunteed to hit. After you use it all of your health and mind is gone. Lastly 3 out of 4 times the user is incapped too. Nextime don't be stupid and stand next to a BH that is getting @%% haned to him by a Storm Trooper.

Guys, no need to be so hostile here, he has some merit in what he's saying; I agree, Last Ditch is working as intended, but the slapping a storm trooper manouver/dueling a friend before entering combat is not using the sepcial in the spirit in which is intended, nor really as it was designed to be used. Having said that, in order to execute such a manouver, you have to have the shot hit, as if it doesn't, you're in a very bad situation.
As far as I know there's no change coming or planned at all as far as LD is concerned, something enforced by comments from FanFest.

Um... actually I do think those are exploits. In fact, I'd go so far as to let you go ahead and try it on me. You do it, I'll alert the appropriate authorities, and they will be the final deciders on these points. I'm willing to bet anything in my houses that you'll only get caught doing that once, and that even if you do manage to get in and get my stuff I'll be reimbursed in some way.
On a side note, if you weren't on your Jedi and the smuggler shot you then both you and the unnamed smuggler must have both been overt? Do you usually wander around overt and ignore other overt players of the opposite faction? Of course, if they were rebel and slapped the imperial not only would they be incapped, but shot and killed since that's what stormtroopers do (you know... shoot and kill rebels... especially overt ones)? Wait... don't imperials get apologized to for slapping stormtroopers anymore (haven't been imperial or slapped stormtroopers around in awhile).
Oh wait... you must be rebel and the smuggler must be imperial...which is why you weren't shooting them, you were shooting the stormtroopers and ignoring the players...
And so the nefarious imperial smuggler ran up overt, slapped the stormtrooper, got incapped, got back up after a few seconds, last ditched you for 6k damage withhis uber krayt-rancorpistol (must be some DX2 pistol, since my pistols don't hit over 4k with Last Ditch... where do I get one of these again?)... or maybe you had your armor off cause you were fighting stormtroopers...
Then after the65second or socooldown of last ditch, where your jedi friend who just sat around gawking at the absurdity of you fighting stormies without armor instead of doing the 5 pts of damage to incap the nefarious, imperial smuggler-slayer, they shot your jedi friend with last ditch again... oh wait... got incapped again, or they would have regenned their health and Last Ditch would have been ruined... and shot your jedi friend through the eye while his back was turned.
That pretty close? Or was I way off?
P.S. -- Shooting a jedi that has Master Defender with Last Ditch with a Adv Laser Rifle with a damage attachment after being incappacitated does around 2.8k damage. I've tested it a few times with some friendly guild mates.
Edit: Oh wait! I almost forgot that I miss with Last Ditch probably 1/3 of the time I use it (unless I mistakenly hit my key when shooting a stationary target like a creature lair, where I hit slightly more often).

isn't it nice all these people coming in here and explain how last ditch, fiegn death and concussion work? As a smuggler I'd have no idea unless these people were around to tell me the truth of how my specials work.
