First one to yell that about me, I shoot him. Seriously. I have enough "slice plz" tells as it is lol. (Or had, I'm quite retired from street slicing now)

I once sliced a container for a noob that was really nice and dieing for something cool to happen to him. So I actually threw a +2 ranged defence clothing attachment in his container. After he asked me what it was and I told him, he then offered it to me for being so helpful and also for slicing the container. I of course just could not tell him no but I also could not take the thing back. So I then dropped it into a shirt and offered him the shirt telling him I looted the shirt with that same modifier on it. He got all excited and thanked me again and walked off one happy noob.

HAHA! You did the right thing, thats what you get for being rude and pushy.

Out of what seems like hundreds of containers that i have opened for others....maybe only 1% had something good.....

But believe it or not...out of all the containers that I looted myself and opened....I got much better stuff.....

When I started smuggler, I had 26 locked containers from grinding my alt as a Rifleman on Lok. My rewards were a red crystal and a AS +2 exp skill tape. KA-CHING!!!

Not a darn thing since Any containers I open for my guildies always has junk. Oh well.

A. the moment he asked for a dmg slice and showed himself to be an idiot, you should just walk away. Its not worth your time.


and 2. I've noticed with alot of smugglers there seems to be some confusion on what a smuggler is. people will tell stories of how they did something dishonest and say, to the effect, "well I am a smuggler after all." As if smuggler is synominous with thief.
If you choose to steal something from another player, that's your choice but its not in line with being a smuggler. Smugglers live and die by their reputation, literally. Despite doing something extremely illegal, they have to be entirely honest with their clients. The ones that decide to steal risk at best, losing their main source of income and at worst, getting fitted with some cement shoes and touring a riverbed. A smart smuggler delivers all his goods. A stupid smuggler skims off the top or outright steals. That's when he stops being a smuggler and starts being a common thug.
