After I paid my dues as a smuggler only able to open locked containers, paying 3k on the bazaar to get a container when none were around, and buying clamps to open them for free for the public I decided in the long run its a waist of my time to continue slicing containers now what I have slicing 4. For what I have/chooseto charge ( 1k per ), Its just not worth the materials to open them for free anymore, but people still bug me to open them for free cause "Some other guy opens them for free". "well mr , they need the points more than I do, take it to them...". Still they will continue to bother me, and i figure every once in a while i need to do a freebie in turn for getting good referals. Good for business to make a random person pee thier pants. Well one day some guy is being a real rude to me about wanting his weapon sliced for damage and he wont listen to me saying NO I CANT... ok, "well how much do you charge for a damage slice" ha asks. Ok I slice it and happen to get damage. then he gets pissed that it wasnt the 30% or above that he wanted. So im gettin mad, and im about to just /ignore. but he asks if i will slice a container for free sence he didnt get the slice he wanted... what ever, sure. Just go far away when im done. So I open his container. He says " there better be something good in there cause I always get junk ". Im thinking I would duel this guy if he were not a Commando with a flamethrower. oh well, i just want to get rid of this guy and keep my good name as a slicer. I open his container, and peek inside it so see what random junk he may have gotten, Maybe he got an imp disk or something worth more than 1k. Then I about shat myself. there was a force crystal in his container along with ONE unit of copper of course. So my problem is does this guy deserve this grand prize, or do I act out the smuggler and hand him the container with one unit of copper only? Well he was rude. He will never know. I am a smuggler...of course i did what um my holo told me to do.

Anyone else find anything nice in a container? Im just curious.

Best I've ever found was 3 more locked containers within the original one (nested). Though, each one had something in it, but nothing to write home about...mission disks, miscellaneous loot items, etc.

Though I keep hearing about folks who find force crystals in containers. Don't know if that's true or not.

I discovered one Force Crystal during my grind through the containers. Nothing since.

i never look inside containers... even if the person is rude or not... but when i was grinding slicing 1 and 2 i did get 3 locked containers in the same (1 in the first, then 1 in the second etc) that was a good catch =)

I rarely look inside myself but hey lets be honest who wouldnt swipe something like that?

Everyone expects crap in them anyway lol

As for slicing containers..i dont now..theres more than enough novice smugglers spamming coronet for people to get containers sliced

Hehe I have a very odd way of going about the whole container thing. If the person is a rebel i slice for free and dont look inside. if they are neutral i charge 500, and look inside everynow and then. if they are the ever stupid imps i charge 1k, always look inside, and take whatever i need. its just my part in the GCW to help the alliance any way i can.

On my first slice ever i got a Blue Twin Force Crystal, it was sweeeeeeeeet

I open probably 5 containers a day (looted), and I have never gotten anything nice. I'm happy when I get pretty clothes, that's about it.

It's in my bio now, "5k for a container slice. Take it to a novice. They need the XP."

Only had 1 taker thus far

Whenever anyone asks me to open a container, i all ways suggest they contact o novice smuggler who need to open them. If the coustomer insists on me opening it, I will reluctantly do it for3k,while suggesting that a novice will do it for free.

I have sliced a container containing a Twin Force Crystal. I was honest, and returned it to the owner. Can;t say i wasn't tempted though.

The reaction I got for him was better anyway, he immediately said "...and you gave it back to me!" Then proceeded to shout about Coronet that I was the best up and coming Smuggler around and everyone should give me their containers to slice. Wouldn't you know it...it ended up getting my through the Container grind...had liek 12 tells afterwards.
