Thread: Smuggler Brothers/Sisters on Starsider
There IS some drama, but you basically won't know about it if you don't read the forum board
And wow, there do seem to be a lot of us forum smugglers around, doesn't there?
In any event, good to have you with us.
The Starsider server board is so full of dramaqueens it glows pink from three rooms away. Give Cael a call next time your in Eisley. I always have work for aspiring RP smugglers (there is no other kind until we can smuggle). It's not easy but it pays and when it's done, you owe nothing to anyone.
Also, feel free to check out the link my sig. Sorry to spamvertize but i wrote it, i have a right to be proud of that, right?
Wow. I knew the Smuggler Community was great, but you guys have really risen to the occaison to make me feel welcome. I appreciate it. A lot.
I just logged off of Starsider again. I'm currently camped outside of Eisley with about 355 wounds from a seriously botched re-entry into Yavin's upper atmosphere following a run in with Black Sun (I always get cocky and think I can take just ONE more wave before I end those duty missions). I'll probably be back on again either later tonight or tomorrow.
The sig is Michaelus "Mic" Zweig. Mic'sa retired Imperial ground pounder whose living off a small military pension and trying to make ends meet by crewing tramp freighters, bouncing indive cantinas, hunting for hide and meat, etc. He's willing to do what it takes to make his way in the galaxy, but he's got his own moral code that can limit him from time to time. Should be fun to RP...
I appreciate the offers for creds and housing and such, but I'm really more interested in meeting up with other people, getting to know what's going on around the galaxy, who the various PAs are, and of course, grouping up to gain some of that wonderful Pistols/Combat xp. I'll probably be trying to grind my way through Privateer again as quick as I can. It just seems wrong to look at that Skill window and see all those empty boxes and to not have Smuggler there at all.
Thanks again for the support and for making the move that much easier. It was hard to make the decision to go back to basics and work my way back up through the profession. I only wish that I had made the decision two weeks earlier to take advantage of x2 Xp week. But, at least this way I'll be able to have a better insight to the Smuggler prof after having mastered it Pre-CU and now seeing what it's like Post-CU.

By the way, long as all you 121st guys are around, one of you mind telling Naithan I won't be at the Saturday space PVP? My gaming computer's busted and I don't expect to have it working again for a couple more days. Thanks guys.

I'm another refugee, sort of. Pair of girls I've been playing with for... almost two years now.. well, we decided to make SWG our game again, and Starsider was the server of choice. Now, I've been a Smuggler for a long time, on Kettemoor, so I understand the necessity of networking, both as a Smuggler and an RPer. We happen to be looking for a guild, one that RPs and doesn't as it were "suck", but due to various reasons, we're not really loooking for an Underworld-oriented guild, and we're looking towards Rebel PAs. That's not really the point though. The point is...
I'm looking to get to know many of you I know here on the boards on an in-game basis on Starsider. I need my Smuggler and RPer contacts. So, please, if you are so inclined, send Kaytlin a tell in-game, assuming I don't manage to get to you first. :>
