Thread: *Smuggling* -vs- smuggling ...why is the Smuggler community misunderstood?

Hey, we got an answer by JFreeman, who politely ask us to go and get f**ked up on talus station to have smuggler only content.
I wonder if they know how to read, we express the issue that the name is a trouble to us, and they tell us to go on talus, is there any way of llogical thinking i may have missed?

I know, it is not answering the issue about the Smuggler Alliance name, but still it is neat to have Smuggler only content finally.
I DO agree the Smuggler Alliance should wear another name. Would be possible to have a space neutral "faction" that is neither "Smuggler only" nor stealing the Smugglers of their place. Like someone suggested, maybe a Free Traders Association thing, or the "Free Pilots Guild" or something. You can have "criminal" missions that are not Smuggling (or smuggling
) related, like theft, escort, killing someone off, etc.

I have got the BEST idea EVER. Since everyone is entitled to take smuggler missions, I think we should be able to all use lightsabers and force powers. Also, everybody that's not a master BH/commando etc should be able to wear mandalorian armor.

I think we should show the Devs we mean business. Why dont we kill something and mail them the head?
But on a side note, we did try andI mean TRIED as hard as we could before JTL came out to have this off limits to any non smugglers. The effort was fruitless.

Okay, I rant a lot. But swg is still my mmo of choice. and smuggler is still what i consider myself. It's going to be that way for a while. even if the name gets changed to pirate. yeaargghhhh
But at the same time, I feel like I've given SOE around $215 so far, and when they got the first $15 they kicked me in the nuts for wanting to be a smuggler, and then when I was rolling around on the floor for a year, they came back every once in a while to pee on me, take pictures, and laugh. Then this last time they came back, They gave me a delicious candy bar, but at the center of the delicious candy bar was thousands of tiny scorpions. scorpions with laser guns.

Thanks Isleh, that's what I thought.
I just couldn't remember if it happened during the original Thrawn Trilogy or the Hand of Thrawn Duology. I knew it was one or the other though...

5 years or so after ROTJ. It's during the Heir to the Empire trilogy that kicked off the current plethora of EU books.

I agree with the post, what sum of work is it to rename the "Smuggler's Alliance" into something else? just text to edit, come on devs, its a no brainer!
