I don't know. go with combat prowess and the 2 defense lines of enhanced reflexs... those are handy for combat. Personally, my toon has luck, ranged speed, I'm going to get persuasion and the rest are going into combat (except wilderness cause I already have one of those from before I quit swg). Then I'm not doing anything with lightsabers but focusing on getting force powers because I'm keeping smuggler
SO I'll be a smuggling jedi for the ultimate bastardization of everything jedi! lol

*shrug* I want less jedi. i got ganked so much in PvP, that I logged ona freinds acct and took the mission of one of the jedis. Only to find him, he runs into a house and laughs at me and all of his friends talk stuff.
What I want is gunning out of vehicles, so my bh friend can ride shotgun and paste those glowstickers...

Definitive word.... Not True
There was a thread in the Jedi board asking if it was true, Garva locked it and had that to say...
Even though I have a Jedi character, I agree that something has to be done, be it placing more of a deterrent on playing a Jedi character, or implementing a system to allow non-Jedi professions to compete. Check out my proposal (The Hero Profession), link is in my sig...

so when you have PvPers and Roleplayers both against you, it's pretty damn rare.
Heh, reminds me of two quotes from Babylon 5;
"Politics and morality on the same side? That doesn't happen every day, Delenn." (talking about a whole bunch of aliens helping to win back Earth)
And another about how it's a terrible thing for all the Minbari casts to agree on something, because it means they're going to war..
Anyway, it's 6am and I'm a wee bit sleep deprived, so, er, don't mind me

Not JMS, but, assuming you're not watching RotS 24/7, I'd really suggest you find and watch Firefly.. I count Star Wars and Babylon 5 amongst the best (well, ok, I think the original trilogy is the best
) 'unique' visions ofSci-Fi and I think Firefly sitsright up there with them.
As for Jeremiah, truth be told I've not heard anything about it.

Ah Firefly (well Serinity actually) is the movie I am looking forward to most this summer.

Thanks for the tip, I'll be sure to look out for it! By the way, I'm with you on the original trilogy being the best. A tale of fantasy in a Sci-Fi setting, it was my dream come true! I didn't really connect with the new characters (or should I say actors?) in the prequels, with the exception of Liam Neeson, I think he did a good job.
Seems like we might have the same tastes... Yes, Firefly could very well be that new fix I'm looking for...

As for the original post:
Permadeath should definately be an option. Having permadeath will make jedi scared of others more then they are now, it will draw them away from PvP for fear of being Ganked, and it will force them to sorta step back and realize that they are not 32337 h4x02s of the game and they are not above anyone else.
Yes Guild Wars rocks but you can complete the content within a month... a buddy of mine has unlocked the whole game and essentially beaten it twice.

If this is indeed true, it combined with the revamp, may pull me out of Guild Wars and back to SWG fulltime, time will tell... time will tell...
PS: you want to know content? two words - Guild Wars, more content than the SWG devs can shake a stick at (not as diverse, but more engaging, to be sure) Guild wars may not be Star Wars, but it's fun

Me 2, had it not been for the fact that you can't drop padawan and still have the 2nd slot I would have done it.

I WOULD like to open my second slot. I hope they still leave a path to do that- or maybe give it to two year Vets
you can simply unlock the second character and then not grind the jedi skills. you are only sacrificing 24 skill points in your main character to have a whole second character on the same server. and those 24 skill points are actually more useful to regular character than they are to jedi anyhow.
That is the whole point, I then have my main toon with - 24 points that I need for my tempwasted on Jedi which I wont use. Yim is a fighter not a crafter he is not a weak toon or an alt he is my main and a tuff Smuggler all the way. I will not weaken him just because of a 2nd slot, no matter how much I want one.

I wonder if we can somehow support the BHs and hunt Jedi with them once the Jedi Nerf (ooOoO I like the sound of that) happens.
