Yea, that would be the most valuable piece of information for me, if it were true.

I wonder what they are going to do?
Sounds like they are going to put a cap on Jedi, since WE know that permadeath is out of the question (thanks to Veela).
Honestly, I tried Jedi on Test way back and I didn't really like it- BUT I WOULD like to open my second slot. I hope they still leave a path to do that- or maybe give it to two year Vets

Please Tiggs, let this be the truth. OH PLEASE!
Btw - i haven't researched the "Becoming a Jedi" thing, as I have no interest to become one. But I do have a question that could be answered with a simple yes/no.
When you become a Jedi, do you unlock a second char on the same server? If not, is unlocking a second char even possible? I thought I read in an article that your jedi was a second char before, but I could be wrong. Please clarify for me.

I hope this gets us on player bounties, concidering what a decline in Jedi could do to the Bounty Hunter System

Me 2, had it not been for the fact that you can't drop padawan and still have the 2nd slot I would have done it.

Yes, you do unlock an alt on your Jedi's server (last I knew). The only other way to get a two chars on the same server is to start a second account.

you can simply unlock the second character and then not grind the jedi skills. you are only sacrificing 24 skill points in your main character to have a whole second character on the same server. and those 24 skill points are actually more useful to regular character than they are to jedi anyhow.

Isnt it kind of odd that no one that was in chat ever remembers her saying this. Or the fact there is no proof?
Wow, hearsay at its finest.

still the devs have to realize that the Jedi issue is tearing the SWG community apart. so something will have to be done to appease both sides.
on my own server people have set up two guilds (one for Imps, one for Rebs) so that people can join and leave the guild at their convenience. these two guilds will be permanently at war. thus creating a separate GCW where Jedi are NOT invited.
the response to this idea has been overwhelming from the big PvPers it seems.
so when you have PvPers and Roleplayers both against you, it's pretty damn rare.
not that it's all the Jedi players' fault. SOE and LA take some of the blame for allowing powergaming leet kiddies to gain such an iconic and powerful role in the world of SWG.
anyway, i wouldn't doubt that something will be done to adress this issue at some point soon.

If this is indeed true, it combined with the revamp, may pull me out of Guild Wars and back to SWG fulltime, time will tell... time will tell...
PS: you want to know content? two words - Guild Wars, more content than the SWG devs can shake a stick at (not as diverse, but more engaging, to be sure) Guild wars may not be Star Wars, but it's fun
