It's a pity we invest all of those points in unarmed and pistols and all we get of use is Concussion Shot.

From there, we need to pick up Pistoleer or Carbineer if we want to actually have some ranged offense and some decent specials. You can consider a melee profession, but then you lose ALL of your combat specials you gain from Smuggler.

Pre-CU, I loved my Smuggler specials. Post-CU, they're dead weight that don't make it to the toolbar. I have Feign Death, Last Ditch (suicide button) and Concussion Shot. Everything else is Pistoleer or Carbineer.

It's a lot of skillpoints to invest so I can sell crates of Pixie on the bazaar for 8k, but I want to be a Smuggler, dammit!

Yes it should be called "Naughty Tickle" or "Inappropriate Grope" since all it does is make them look at you funny and then slap the piss out of you.
