Thread: buying fp
hmmm and who did you sell that to Krosa!!
Thanks again man, it was slow and painful but I know it was worth it for me....and I think it was for you.
Seems to me a smuggler shouldn't worry about how he/she gets what they want/need.
Anything it takes baby!
I mean the profession is smuggler afterall, right?
is there some sort of counter u can use in your delgating fp cause i bought some from a smuggler last night and he had the amout it would cost me and then it stoped when he got to the amout i need. Thanks for all the info

The best way I've figured on figuring a job is this:
1) I have all of my creds actually on my character...nothing in the bank.
2) Make a note of my current balance.
3) Figure profit from order and add that amount to my current balance.
4) Customer /tips me credits to cover the order.
5) Watch credit balance in inventory window as I /delegate...when balance = beginning balance + profit, I stop.
This isn't an exact science, but it's as close as I care to get.
Example:
Beginning credit balance: 1765408 creds
Client order: 10k fp = 1000000 creds
My profit on order: 144972
1765408 + 144972 = 1910380
Watch the balance in my inventory as I /delegate...when my balance = 191XXXX (it will never be EXACTLY equal to the calculation)...I stop. Every now and then, the client will get an extra transfer...but 9 times out of 10, the order will be covered.

I bet this has been mentioned before, but smugglers should just be able to go up to recruiters and tell the recruiter how many faction points they want and the recruiter will charge them.It would be the same cost, just save you the hassle of clicking the recruiter a bunch.
This is just off the top of my head so I wouldn't be surprised if some people found flaws in this idea.
