Zabraks make great droids. Pale out the skin and make the face really thin. You can even use one of the more robotic looking tatoos- I went without a tat and was quite pleased.
I don't get to play X'iso eightSiXeight at all but I did like how he came out.

At the moment there is no rival guild to Severed Shade. No direct rival anyhow. (when I said I used to be in the enemy guild of Shade, I meant ENEMY. Azu'kai flatly refuses to have anything to do with Shade on an IC or OOC level, and hates Shade with an undieing passion, both IC and OOC) But there is a good possibility that we could get together with some of the other crime guild and actually fight for control of territory. Gang wars, space lane duels, hijacking and piracy. Least I'm hoping.
While just hunting and helping each other level is all fine and good, that gets dull. The focus of the guild will be on the Roleplaying, not on the grinding, not the questing, that, if done at all, will be done when theres nothing else going on.
I'd love to be able to find a good Imperial PA to also fight with, play cops and robbers. Only problem is most of the Starsider Imp PAs are either strickly PvP, or corruptable.
In the beginning, the guild still being much smaller than the other crime PAs, mostly folks will have to spend time avoiding the larger groups that can and probably will kick Shades butt. Think about it. You're trying to get your spice or your 'salvaged' parts, into a town that one of the larger PAs has a force in. You have to sneak. You have to be sly. You have to...dare I say it...smuggle. *gasp* 
Any other ideas? As it is my decision, which hasn't been entirely made yet, rests entirely on what response I get. I don't want to get made head of space operations, only to have no pilots, I have better thing to do than strut around with an empty title.

Good luck with it Arsani. I hope you can make it work and not fall down the path that this particular guild has a history of following. It would be nice to see a good smuggling/crime guild that interacts with the other RP guilds and maintains it's identity, though I think it will be an uphill battle simply because so many people will consider the group's history when dealing with you as opposed to a fresh start with something new.

What would be a good name for the head of space operations? Director of Flight? Director of Void? Director of Black? Director of Yar?

Gawd, don't I know it. The whole time they were taking over I was telling them that it'd be easier to just start over, but they were determined. They want the name recognition. But the new leader actually listens to people, and he's already making up the list of people he needs to apologize to over the past actions.
