I wonder if everyone realizes that the 8% you get on damage isn't 8% on your max damage, but rather 8% of you minimum damage added to both min and max. I wound up getting +25 damage from a level 3 damage slice.. which amounted to about 2.7%. I didn't realize till it was done, what a waste of customization percentile it was.

Well, I certainly didn't know that about the percentage coming from the min damage... how much does THAT suck?


So what I'm hearing is we have an extremely rare but questionably valuable slicing component. Awesome.


Honestly, I don't know that 300-500K creds is worth it for me to part with the ONE that I have (of the two that I salvaged). If I knew I'd be able to find another one, that's a different story. Oh, well. Thanks for the feedback, guys.

As for prices, slicing them for about 800k a pop seems the norm on Chimaera, I know of at least four smugglers that charge that.







I think pilot outfit doesn't count in this case as long as you're tier 4+. I'm a smuggler pilot and I get the duty mission just fine. Just go into Theed Palace, into the room opposite from where the librarian hangs out and talk to Admiral Imler (or whatever her full name is, her last name is Imler), she should offeryou a number of different missions, including for Black Suns.

Ya know.... I've done at least 8 of these slices, including my own weapons, and I've never seen this. I know that you and others keep insisting that this is broken, but I've never seen it and I'llremian skeptical until I do. It sure as hell is not "the was slicing works."


Just to reiterate, ALL of my 8% slices have given me 8% of the max damage. I have no idea how what you're seeing or how you do math, but it works fine for me.

I sawthree on Kauri's bazaar about five days to a week ago. I rememberthat one was priced for a cool million and I think another was even higher. I also saw a delicate trigger for 2 million, but Kauri's a f'd up galaxy anyway.

about the %, remember that you cant slice over the weapons cap, example T21 has a cap of 1184 or there abouts
