Thread: Booster core availability?

Okay... I know this has been discussed a lot already, so I did a little research. Checked the Flurry galaxy trade forum for booster cores, just wondering if anyone had sold them there, I didn't see anything besides people wanting to buy them for about 300K. After the post talking about one selling for a ridiculous 10 million credits, I was wondering if any other smugglers had seen them actually selling in their galaxy's trade forums or other info on them selling on vendors.
Or... is everyone basically hoarding the ones they've salvaged until we see if they start loot dropping with any regularity?
Personally, I've salvaged two from about 75 WUKs... one went into my new FWG, the other I'm holding onto like a precious, precious thing...

And yes, Angus, I know you looted six in a row from the super dooper battle droids on the Corvette... so... you don't need to re-iterate that... 
Just wondering if anyone has seen anything resembling a fairly consisted price on their respective galaxy.

Haven't heard of anything on Corbantis yet. Haven't seen one actually sell on the trade forums there and only 2 on the vendor search but werelisted at the typical storage price.

I have spent hours in Deep Space and not got one to drop. Did manage to trade one for a delicate trigger, whichi promptly placed in my Trandoshan Pistol. Still waiting for someone to tell me a good regular loot drop place

believe it or not i have salvaged a few of em!!!!!, i was suprised when i saw it...but a few minslater i got another on!!!!!! i was like omg omg omg omg omg and i threw up

I've been actively discouraging people from trying to sell them on trade boards for Infinity.
I just point out that for their rarity you'll never get a reflective price as it will send slicing prices through the roof. I tell customers that if they loot one, keep it and use it themselves.
Saying that, most auctions I've seen on Infinity have been starting around 300-500k.

I was messing around an got over 7 so far. In a crate of 25 Weapon Kits odds are you'll get 16-18 simple kits, 5-7 finely tuned kits, and maybe 1 core booster. Even got 2 so far from one crate, an I wouldn't be over pricing them just yet. Krayts seem to drop then nightsisters drop triggers an to be truthful there is alot of Weapon kit and armor kit crates out there. I sold over 500 cratesthe week before the smuggler change came up.

... I was intentionally fabricating facts in order to see if anyone would come back here and say something like "I tried hunting them, and died like 50 times, and didn't get anything!" I honestly didn't think anyone was gullible enough to believe me.

I haven't checked the prices yet on Chimaera, but I have gone after them by taking Black Sun missions from one of the RSF pilot trainers in Theed Palace.
I have so far completed 3.5 full duty missions (got interrupted in the last one), killed 258 tier 4 Black Sun's while doing so, and looted 1 (one) Core Booster (is it true that tier 5's don't drop them btw?).
With these drop rates, I'm not surprised at the high prices (although a few million still seem excessive). I will certainly hold on to any I can lay my hands on for now.

Gutted...as an imp pilot how am i supposed to get these tier four bacl suns mission? I was led to believe that they also drop in Deep Space and Kessell, but so far no luck.
As for prices, slicing them for about 800k a pop seems the norm on Chimaera, I know of at least four smugglers that charge that.
