Helping newbies is fun especially when you greet them with the famous yet forgotten

/emote gives %NT the Secret Smugglers handshake

Although not all Noobs are fun. Today at the shuttleport I suddenly got a challenge. I examined the guy and see1 badge (Crystal fountains of bela vistal). His title was Novice brawler. I told him that it's not wise to challenge complete strangers (btw I wore my title 'Desperado'), but he was like "You Sissy" "I'm so much stronger". Well I'm Master Smuggler and Desperado so long story short:

00:00:00 You accept "noob"s challenge.

00:00:01 Torso Shot

00:00:02 Low blow

00:00:03 Last ditch

00:00:04 Last ditch

00:00:05 You incapped "noob".

Afterwards I healed him 4 times so the burn didn't incapped him one more time. I told his friend to watch "noob" and he simply agreed.

It's always whip and sugar in education, isn't it?

It's not IF I can do it, it's HOW MUCH you're willing to pay.

I actually find this funny as hell. Smugglers, as professions go, are generally the nicest and most honest in the game. I'm actually very tempted to follow in fishbrains footsteps and go help some people out.

Why so funny then? Because smugglers will yet again be shining through as the nice guys who have been left behind.. the Greenday song, "nice guys finish last" comes to mind

Meanwhile, we become care in the community volunteers!

He he, yes from time to time I slice some CDEF pistols, rifles etc for the occasional n00b. They think it's awesome. But what *I* think about is all the trouble and hazzle they'll get from the troopers, lol.

And thesecret Smuggler Handshake isn't forgotten!

Don't take all the newb players... leave some for me!
I passed you in the Coronet starport late last night near the ticket terms. Would normally have said "Hi!" but I was not feeling social due to the crappy lag I was experiencing!

I didn't see you, if I did I would have said hi though! Always fun to see fellow smugglers.

I started the Smuggler Abopt a New Player Program on Bloodfin today. Met with only marginal success. Gave away one free slice and education on slicing and taught one guy about cloning and insurance. There were no other takers. Oh well, maybe I will try again sometime.
