Valid points one and all, for me the money is not the main issue. We all can make more money doing, for example solo rancor missions. The price's ive set work income and time wise (they are comfortable, but again this is just me), but the main reason I slice is for the interaction with other players. I love N00b's, pro's and everyone inbetween. Problem with a fixed price on slicesis every true smuggler (not holosluts) slice for different reasons (some for a living others for friends only, etc.) some smugglers still believe in the 100 credits per % and while its not for me I have to respect the fact that they are holding true to the "old ways". My point, 10k works well for you, the scale system works for me, 100 credits per % works for others. With that in mind it will be tough to get everyone behind on price, besides it makes thing (in my opinion) interesting when prices all all different (like RL, can stay at a hotel for X-$$ or go to priceline.com and get the same room for X-$$$). I do love the idea of all the Smugglers on eclipse working together, maybe we can put down a non-guild meeting place (like the smugglers den) where the few true smugglers on eclipse can meet and work together. I think price fixing and controling output would work well in the spice trade (after it is re-vamped). That might be cool. You are 100% right though we should ban-together and it was killer of you to post this cause at least a few of us from eclipes are talking. What do you think of an offical meeting place smugglers, a little bar somplace out of the way?

What im thinking is we set up a non-guild meeting place (if most eclipse smugglers are into the idea). We keep with the guild's we are in, make this a low key type of thing, maybe meet one time a month for PvP (fun only) trade, talks about server wide prices speeder race's, gambling...etc

I think this is a great idea. As of right now, all my slices are 5k per.

I suggest we do get together when the revamp goes in. There will be money to be made in a new spicing industry and its far better to set a minimum then price each other out of the business.

I'd like that. Since I turned in my business I have a number of lots spare and a nice little place outside of Kadaara ( Well hidden in a Canyon ) in which I'd be prepared to place a large noobian house. I also have a website at www.sylvex.co.uk which can be used. Although I know many of you are happy with your respective guilds there is no reason we can't band together under this "front corporation" for running an eclipse criminal organisation, replete with chat channels and a place to meet for the future. this sounds good, i was thinking we could all meet, smugglers and BH once a month, to hang talk shop, have PvP and swoop contest, gamble...etc.A night when the underworld of Eclipse regardless of faction meet to do what we do. And the rest of the time it would be a central hub for us.Rylan you want to meet up tonight to talk about moving this forward?

A friend of mine is a Master Bounty Hunter and it's been our goal for a while to increase the criminal activity that goes on their. Might be handy to have some of those guys on board because I think with our revamp we'll need some BH friends.

well all this is cool , but one of my points when I decided to run my shop is to NOT having to do enraged rancors/jantas missions to make money. and actually have time to do some social things others than the regular

/tell me "hey can u slice my weapons/armors"
/me "yes I charge xK/slice etc.."
/tell me "ok where are you"

etc... and this was the polite way.

I got tired of seing people coming with 500k worth weapons and go pissed off cause I landed a 13% speed on em.

now I can just spend my time doing what I want, I take from 1h to 3hrs a day to stock, and I'm free to hang out with IDs, hunt with buddies, help noobs leveling etc...

got tired of missions and regular stuff, now I'm just discovering another side of the game, and I'm happy this way.

Ok I was thinking about this last night, tell me how you all feel about this. Rylan has the building to place and a nice location on naboo, we could all say well why naboo (i live on tat) but to keep things simple I say lets just place it in the spot Rylan has picked out, it is a very cool spot. With that said:

We have time zone issues to addressand we should deside on a loose leadership structure (I say loose because the "leaders" are more or less organizers not rule or price makers, again there are no rules). The leaders of our as of yet not named community of criminals will set up meetings for the larger population of smugglers based on your time zone, the leaders will need to me motivated enough to get the word out about meetings, events, yadda, yadda, yadda. I feel it should be a counsel of 10 Master Smugglers, who plan on staying Master Smugglers (no longer a Master no longer on the siting counsel). Should be people from all time zones and all factions. We need to first pick the 10 leaders and then figure out when we can meet at the naboo location to start organizing the Smugglers of eclipse. Rylan and I will be a part of the 10 so we are needing 8 more masters (if you guys dig this plan). After we have the 10 (again all time zones all countrys all factions) we can figure out a time to meet and or work with in-game e-mails. So what do you all think and who wants in on the counsel???
