Thread: Daze changes?

And it means those of us running around with better things to do that endlessly shoot at other players will be completely overwhelmed by the mobs running at as as the mezz wears off and can not be reapplied.

Since I now do more damage with tha one handed sword you get from the Kerritamba village quest thanI do unarmed or with any ranged weaponand now that Smuggler is uselses I think its time to pick up something else to go with TKM and Novice Doc.

True smuggler or not it is a wise change, would you rather they had lowered the duration of the daze effect? It is still usefull and can no longer be used to completely control a group PvP envounter. Nerf? maybe, needed? yes.

They need separate rules for PVP and PVE. In PVP i agree it makes sense, in PVE its ridiculous.

THE DAZE NERF WAS NEEDEDMY @$$


This completely wipes out my ability to solo more than one CL 80 creature. I was out there doing Rebel mission with two or three spawns by my self for cash and faction and another nerf comes alongand finally shows me that having spent my entiretime as a Smuggler was a waste. I tend to leave everybody alone, I help when help is needed, and I group when I have the time. Other than that I just try to enjoy myself and stay out of the Jedi nerf Smuggler/ Bounty Hunter nerf Smuggler crap as much as is possible. This is it. Smuggler needs a revamp NOW. They need to sit down and decide what we are supposed to be. Pistoleers and Carbineers are better at landing states than we are so we are definately not crowd control. We use pistols up close but we have no defense. We get crap for Pistol specials now and we do nil damage. Spice is a joke for selling and faction sales are no longer profitable. We can't slice correctly and we need loot that we cannot obtain ourselves.Throw us a bone here!!!

So explain how we are crowd control? We are supposed to be the crowd control KINGS of the battlefield...


Im not following.....how is a 30 second PENATLY needed against mezz? I know...you are a jedi, and dont like to get killed, thus you claim that 30 secs is perfect, why? Cause it should only take a jedi 30 seconds to kill a person in pvp....


and dont give me the whole "Its the get-away skill" line. We can "get -away" all we want....but if we need the exp and we cant kill anything cause we are to busy "getting away" whats the point of the profession?

Been saying it all along.

Its not CH/BH/CM/Jedi its PVP that finds the exploits uses the exploits and gets things nerfed for everyone.

You sir are beneath talking too I have stated twice above this has nothing to do with Jedi, start reading and stop talking.

Why was it needed? An example, two groups of players fighting each other, one is maybe a rifleman/smuggler. He gets to the back of his group then tabs and dazes each of the opposing group (ok it takes a little while because of the concussion cooldown). His group then attack 1 person of the oposing group and ganks them. Every time one of the other group come out of mez he re-applies it. I have been on both ends of this as both the mezed and the mezer and it is far from balanced. Nothing to do with Jedi what so ever, get over your obscession that everything posted by anybody that has a Jedi toon must be a whine or a nerf cry. As a smuggler myself I agree with this change, although I have been forced to consider that it is ill fitting for the PvE crowd and should be handled seperately.

This is a perfect example of PVP ruining play for PvE players. So once a again the minority screws the rest of us.



BTW Jedi go our root changed to a daze because they got owned by Bounty Huntersand BH got our Last Ditch nerfd because Jedi used to escape the DB.

you sir, just explained the only use of the smuggler....he was a 5 ...or HIGHEST possible rating, in Mezzing.



like I said, you have glowbaton the brain.....I cant possibly understand why ANYONE would not see this as a nerf that was completely uncalled for....other than the fact that you are a uber j3b1 in a group and you get mezzed. Now you must sit back and watch the show, you cant cloak with your uber klingon cloaker, you cant heal with you small hospital in your finger tips, you cant power up a generator, and fry someone with an electrical charge from your grubby nubbies, and most of all? You cant swing you glowbat hither and yon...you must stand there, while a smuggler controls the crowd so his group can gain the upperhand.....



THAT is crowd control....being able to control an entire group, so that your group can gain the upperhand...so, instead of being smart and taking along your OWN smuggler, ...your gruop of glowbat swingers make a tearful whine up to the devs...and the devs nerf us..
