Thread: For the remaining smugglers, how much per slice you charge ?

If I were to log back into the game tonight, my prices would START at a flat 10k price.
Depending on the mood I'm in and the attitude of my prospective customer, that price would either go down to as low as 7.5k, or it could go up to as high as 20k...or more...
But, that would require me to reinstall SWG on my PC...

My personal opinion on my prices:
Thanks to all who have said I've got it right, it's nice to know my colleagues agree with me. Long before I hit Master Smuggler, I came to the forums and looked around, trying to gauge peoples opinions of slicing. One person basically wrote a post which pointed out how a Slice was a perminent upgrade to your weapon, and that he felt 10,000 was a fair price, considering we have to buy materials, and then spend our time slicing the weapon, taking the ***censored*** from other unhappy customers and generally playing CSR more than most CSR's do. I honestly didn't want this. I feel that 100 per 1% is a SERIOUS unvaluation of the service WE provide. As said in another post, which is presently on page one of this Forum, people believe that a slice under 20% is awful, and I cant say I blame them too much, if the guy next to you just got his Scythe sliced for 35% damage. That's where my 5k came from.
As for Armour, my personal belief is that if you're rich enough to go out and spend 250,000 on a full set of Composite, you're rich enough to pay me to slice it for you, so you can be Godly.

01% - 16% - 2k
17% - 23% - 4k
24% - 30% -6k
31% and up - 8k
2k for contrainers

As much as I can! 
If I know I'm the only Master around, or I know the player is rich (or Imperial), I start at 15k, and haggle.
If not, 5k. If people want free slices for sub-20% ones, and I'm feeling playful, I say OK, but it's 25k if it's over 30%, that usually shuts them up! (or earns me cash )

I say 5k a slice. Sometimes customer will haggle- "ok but if under 20% 2k"
I'll agree to it according to my mood. Usually agree cause not much under 20% these days. But if he doesn't say that, its 5k no matter what.

I generally do not slice for the public anymore. When I do forget to turn off my tag and get asked it is a flat rate of 5k ,weapons and armor, no exceptions and no refunds. My fee to open containers is 20k.

LoL i soo need to switch servers i charge 5k per slice and i'm considered high on naritus.
i don't barter argue or debate on prices i don't advertise either i let them /tell me when they do all i say is 5k per slice i only again reply when they agree on that price, if they say anything else i usually just ignore. Some people complain but most will take the price =)

I'm doing 250 credits per percent increased at the moment. Free below 20%. It's working for me. Might up to 300 credits eventually.

I only really want to slice for friends. I dont consider myself a slice monkey. 10k, take it or leave it.
