Nope, you can use any melee ablity you have with any melee weapon, or any ranged ablity you have with any ranged weapon you could equip.

Oh, and BTW, the headhit from novice swords will be one of your two damage specials. The other will be advanced combo... it only reports the damage as 1/3 of what it really does, but it does that damage to 3 different body parts.

sweet, thx and I'll have two or three knucks of katarn. one for each slice category prolly. speed for pve, damage for when action pool needs a rest, and crit strike for pvp. have to see how it works out
