Thread: POLL: reb or imp?

I'm Imperial. But then I'm also a Master Politician. My background puts me in the Galactic Senate for a while, then with it being disbanded recently, I had to find "other means" to make a living. And since I had underworld connections from my Senator days, I naturally took to running spice and upgrading weapons/armor.
I'll supply either side as long as my profits stay up. But I'm keeping my Imperial connections just in case.

Well, technically I'm a Reb Smuggler. Of course, I only joined the Reb faction because the chicks really dig it. 
Not to mention that I look damn good in Reb Assault armor.

im currently a rebel smuggler. but since my guild has died i am thinking of going neutral. then nothing can hold me back. then again: no faction sales either... hmm... i'll have to meditate on that one. oh crap, dropped TK 4xxx since CU so can't even do that. guess i'll stay rebel then... or shall i turn neutral anyway? hmm...
guess im a flip-flopper

I was imp cause imps were the underdogs then I turnd reb cause my guild was almost entirely reb and I wanted to base bust with my buddies. Then I quit playing. Now I'm still reb but, eh, can't be bothered to do anything with it. I fly for myself and Talon (since I really can't be bothered to spend that much time in space... so slow!).

Let's see. Started off Rebel, went Imperial, went to being Neutral for a while, then back to Rebel and now I'm an Imperial again. Why am I Imperial now you ask? Well, because Scout Trooper armor rocks the casbah that's why. It just looks effin' groovy.
But as far as the RP angle goes, I just play it off that I'm technically neutral, with alot of Imperial contacts...makes getting "shipments" through blockades a bit easier, don't have to grease the palms as much

Smuggling is one of the arts of making money via breaking the law.
If there's no law, there's no money.
Therefore, i always supported the Empire in any way i could. Since i picked up an alt and PvP'd him heartily (same character, but in armour) he was also Imperial. That was when i found out exactlhow horribly the Empire is outnumbered by the rebels, mostly on account of every little kid wanting to be the "good" guy and also, of course, knowing that Palpatine is going to die at Vader's hand eventually. Backing the side that you already know is going to lose eventually is a hard choice.
But logical for me, for my character, for his background.

Rebel.
Radiant is FULL of Imperials and I like being the underddog. Gives me more to shoot at.

I'm Imperial now, will be switching to Rebel in the future.
Not sure what faction I'll end up, but in space I'll be Freelance Smuggler's Alliance.
