I'm too attached to Smuggler to ever dump it. I love BH though...wish I could do it again with a char on my server.

I've been in multiple PAs, and started my own. Never works out... I RP, but it seems that nobody wants to RP with me on a regular basis.

sucks that you have troubles with guilds. the game is no where near as fun solo I dont think, but thats my opinion. as for RP'ing... that's odd, because as I understand it Starsider is one of the unofficial RP servers

It is, and there are a lot of RPers over here, but nobody needs to talk to me that often.

There's lot of things to do, you could

Become a Flame Warrior: Find holes in peoples ideas and arguements on the fourm and destory their post with witty and pointless remarks.

Become a Troll: Scan the boards, randomly posting irrelavent, witty and pointless remarks in them.

Become a Forum PvPer: Attack a certain forum faction with abusive and uncontructive remarks.

Become a Forum Ganker: Same as the above but only post when you have the backup of several others.

/reads title

ingame? what the hell does that mean?

No offense Jack, but if none of these ideas help and you've been there done that, then maybe you should consider canceling. I'm not incharge of SOE subscriptions, so it wouldn't bother me one bit. You could comeback in three months, ROTW will be out the CU-Revamp will be out and hopefully we will be close to having a completed Smuggler Revamp, that will give you all kinds of new content to explore and a whole new combat system to learn. If you comeback and you're still bored then, I personally would quit.

I have always thought that this game is what you make of it. If you don't put any effort into playing and discovering it, you're probably going to be bored.

I started playing again right before they announced the smuggler changes. I had been working towards commando with my master smuggler, but dropped it and rebel pilot to try and get back atleast master pistoleer and master smuggeler pilot before the CU.... at the rate I go it'll be a close run thing.

You should definitely cancel, then I'll be Starsider's undisputed oldest master.

Might get ahold of one of the Rebel space coordinators if you're interested in large-scale space PVP, it's one of SSer's best features. It's RP-based, too. Oh yeah, and have you checked out Farpoint and Farpoint Valley on Tat for RPing? Those places have hundreds of citizens, all of whom are serious RPers.

As for what I do.. sometimes I'll go a couple weeks without doing much besides maintaining my business, but when I'm playing seriously, I do a lot of space missions for loot, a lot of space PVPing, a small amount of slumming around Coronet slicing, sometimes I'll go along on NS hunts with my amazingly gimped template, sometimes I'll get contacted by a customer for a custom-built ship.

When I'm bored, though, I'll find something weird to do. Yesterday I finally was able to buy an Aurilian plant and am spending today finding out how green my thumb is (slow growth already, woot). Before that, I spent about an hour trying to build the best possible bone armor I could. I actually made a modest living for myself by selling it when the game first started and I had no idea what I was doing, so to go back to the original bread and butter of my cash flow was oddly exciting. Plus I looked hilarious badass in the suit once it was done.

Then I forgot to put my pants back on and spent a couple hours running around in the Imperial ace jacket, my crimson swoop helm, and a pair of boxer shorts.

When I am bored... I try to find people for a bit roleplaying, just found goal with an old friend to get some of those special items for each of us.

Sometimes when noones around, I log into my BH on Farstar and do a few bountys... have yet to try the new 1 on 1 system though...

Or I just start a new Char on another server... last week I made one on Starsider, going for the Tripple-Thread again... along with the SA Pilot... Well if you see a scruffy looking human running around in Eisley, crashing alot. Thats probably me.

And don't forget ROLEPLAYING. That is the second most important thing in this game, the first is FUN of course.
