I'm a MSmuggler, MTKA, MPistoleer, MPilot. I just sit around all day...it's pretty boring. Been doing this for a couple years now. Any ideas?

So umm why not go do somthing else?
I slice bases, buy and sell faction, PVP go to the DWB and Geo caves for more pistol loot, help folks get ace in space and pvp in space. If yo dont like the game here is a concept turn off your computer and go do something else.

I'll be more specific...
I've been playing since launch. Every few months I get bored, but I usually find something new to do. I've done public slicing, private slicing. I've sold spice. I've been in both factions and done PvP for both sides. I've sold faction for both sides. I've fought every creature in the game except for the Gorax, and I've been in every dungeon. I've done everything I can do in space except for take out a SD and RSS (don't want to), and I've helped many people get master. I've RPd, and I've done many Smuggling jobs for people. I hate ground combat, so I don't care about loot. I love space combat, but since Pub 13 I can't fly because of my 5k ping.
I never said I don't like the game. Infact I quite enjoy it, and that's why I don't turn off my computer and go do something else (and even if I did, there's nothing else to do).
Now, I asked a simple question, and you gave me kind of a rude response. I would like to know what you other Masters do all day, and what you do when you get bored. If want to be a smartass, go away.

I stand by what I said if your bored do something else. If you want to stay in the game but are bored with your current toon make a toon on test and try something there you have not done before.

well, i usually get a buff, and hunt NS... alone...
but that will change with the moment the smuggling jobs go live... i'll be sure to sell all my spice-crates(except for that sole crate of pixie)before it goes live, so i can enjoy earning the spice 
new goal: perform a Master smuggler's smuggle-quest without doc/ent buffs

As I felt myself start to approach boredom, I decided to start a totally different char on another server just to play around. Of course, just as that char started to get going they announced the smuggler changes and I decided to change factions and remaster pilot.
Basically, I'll agree with the other post. It is silly to pay a monthly fee to be board. If you don't want to mess with your current char, go start a new one and try something different. Heck, you can probably get a few hours out of starting a newbie char, going around asking for credits, and dueling anyone who doesn't pay you off.

Well... that's always an option -- if a little extreme, especially with the recent announcements. *shrug*

Only reason I haven't canceled is I keep waiting for the revamp...now that it's in sight I'll hang on a bit longer.

heh, i think those guys are missing your point. set a goal for yourself or something. I think it would be safe to assume you dont have a suit of mando armor. so hunt black sun and get the BH armor pieces you need then organize a DWB trip to get it crafted into mando. that'll keep you occupied for a while. or start a Smuggler's Alliance on your server, like Gomi and I did on Wanderhome. if you get the majority of smuggler's to join, you can control all slicing and faction buying prices. not to mention you have an underworld organization already up and running, in anticipation of an underworld expansion someday. i dunno, when I get bored I always find some new challenge to go after

I'd like to get into some kind of Smuggling Ring, but not start one. And I don't want Mando armor, cause as far as I'm concerned only one person has a set.

When I get bored, I do a template change. I was a Master Pistoleer and Master Doc, and got tired of the buff thing and getting worked like a rented mule, so I started playing with other weapons. I wound up being a Master Marksman and a Master Merchant to see the crafting/selling aspect of the game. Then I decided to try one of the two professions I always admired: Bounty Hunter. I almost mastered it, but with the devs breaking the missions constantly back then, I dropped it and went for the other profession I always wanted to do: Master Smuggler.
Now I am slowly giving up my Medic and Scout skills and I complete a triple master template. Once that gets old, I will become a Fencer/Smuggler. Then a Swordsman/Smuggler. Than a Pikeman/Smuggler.
I enjoy learning a new profession with new weapons, new strategies, and new specials. Once combat gets boring, I might even get over my crafting burnout from being a Doc and try out Chef.
If you're not too attached to Smuggler, I'd try BH. Talk about a good challange!
