As far as I'm concerned Reckless Shot is the most useless special we get, took it off my toolbar nearly a month ago and haven't looked back. If anything, reckless or not, it shouldn't hurt the user more than the target.

I could understand a defensive penalty if it was actually a high damage modifier. But its not. Nothing close to a 1.7dmg mod with crit or a straight power hit.

I was fooled by the description too. I used to use it and Critical Shot to keep a steady stream of damage going, and when I finally caught on I stopped and wondered just what WE ever did to the Developers.
