well, technically they are. thats why a single melee defense stacker can take down a jedi. i am not a supporter of having jedi in the game, at least not in their current numbers, but the fact that a single melee stacker can defeat a knight is rediculous. don't expect that to be the case after the CU

about the DE10... If I am not mistaken, the new weapons (DE10 and Berserker rifle) are already considered "balanced" and wont change much, if at all, with the CU. It may have changed since I heard that, someone correct me if I am wrong

Yeah, I don't think there's a lot of Jedi that realize that CURB actually means "hefty nerf to everyone but the Jedi."

Which means that after the Curb, SWG is going to be seriously unfun to PVP in unless you're a Jedi.

For the person who wants to be the best combatant with a pistol - keeping master smuggler is hurting you there. Its tying up too many skill points in non-combat related areas. Pistoleer is great to have, and augmented with BH pistols is probably the best. With BH pistols you can directly effect the mind pool, and with pistoleer Healthshot 2, you can specifically target the health pool. BH and Pistoleer allow you to cap your speed in pistols, and you need the accuracy line in pistoleer to hit anything.

For what its worth, I was a 0004 pistoleer with master smuggler, and then dropped enough smuggler to master pistoleer. It has made all the combat difference in the world. Oh, and yes, a DE-10 is worth it. I own one, it was a gift, and it seriously rocks.

Thanks Lilac...

Im a novice smuggler and a novice pistoleer and I plan to master both. The defense is usefull(in my opinion) and plus what kind of smuggler is also a bounty hunter I roleplay so....

Commando or even a little TKM may help, but master pistoleer looks like it will only grant defensive ablities.

I did master pistol/smuggler, wasn't overly impressed during pvp with all those melee runing after me.

So I switched to Smuggler/TK, now that creates a new form of prob when confronting melee. If i'm chasing just keep throwing that low blow..............

If he's heads up on me I spam last ditch till he gets in range and switch over to a vk and throw a dizzy/kd on them, while i don't do alot of pvp anymore it was always interesting to get a "wth" tell aftrwards.
