No. You're still a Privateer, but the Smuggler's Alliance is just ONE place to get that Pilot xp as a privateer. The name was just a little hurtful for us...

I don't care as long as our smuggling missions come through the Smugglers Alliance, and when the non-smugglers try to get the missions, the mission give tells them to go piss up a rope.

Doesn't really phase me, for we have been through a lot. I do wish we had some JtL content.

The prices of my services are based on "tolerance". The more I have to tolerate you, the more you have to pay me.

I don't mind other vagabonds joining up with the Smuggler's Alliance, but I really hope that our revamp ties in with JTL. Having smuggler content in JTL besides the "join the Smuggler's Alliance faction" thing would be cool.

Most of the Smuggler's Alliance folks I met seem to be what you would expect with a smuggler-- independent. I tried snagging some wingmen to help out with my 2nd Tier3 mission, but there were not as available as I would have thought. One time when I was out trying to wrangle a group, I wound up tailgunning on a TIE aggressor instead. Whata blast,and groups were going out all the time. I decided to make a temporary diversion in to the Imperial Inquisition-- I can always win back Talon Karrde, Lady Valarian, and Jabba's favor if the smugglers are given some JTL love in the revamp.

In the meantime, I am a smuggler that was noticed by the Empire and given a confidential assignment thanks to my questionable ethics and fast shooting.
