Thread: What is everyone ripping off er I mean charging punters for Slices these days?
.You got some points worthy of discussion but they tend to be lost in the "get a life" rant.
That said......
I entirely agree that what so many call "the solo group nerf" was a very much needed fix. Raising prices insanely because of that I would not agree with (altough who am I to tell another Smuggler what to charge?) But thoses who say "hey, peoples are paying 15k for 3 hours long buffs, why not 10k to get that krayt DE10 pistol permanently better?" have a point, too.
I charge 5k a slice. I could get richer quicker by charging more, but it is a price I am happy with. Yes, if prices go down accross the board, I will adjust accordingly, but I think at 5k per slice I am already on the low end of Smuggler slicing fee range, so will take a lot to get me to lower that.

I better raise my prices to what few should be willing to pay so i can call myself "rich" for a couple weeks longer than everyone else! the majority of smugglers, and doctors for that matter must have some seriouse issues if they can't understand that the solo group mission "nerf" is meant to balance things in a frankly f***ed up economy. any intelligent person would see it a much better idea to LOWER prices on things like buffs and slicing rather than RAISE them when something like that happens. to all of you out there who are thinking "this noobie must be so poor, lol, i bet i'm richer than he is, he doesn't know sh!t"... do me a favor, stop playing galaxies, and play a new game, there's one out there called REAL LIFE. go out into the world, geta job, that way you can pay for your SWG subscription yourself insted of leaching off mommy and daddy's credit card. find someone of the opposite sex, hell, i don't care, find someone of the same sex, find a sheep, find anything and let go of your virginity. go out there and have some REAL LIFE experiences, i don't care what it is, just make it something! then you'll have an epiphony... SWG is just a game!
I am pleasantly surprised that my fellow Smugglers didn't set you on fire with flames of infinite doom for your rather rude commentsinjected into this discussion. That what this is, a discussion among Smugglers on what they charge to slice. You would do yourself a great service if you would present your opinions in a more polite manner. Where I come from, manners count for something.
You attack with generalizations directed at Smugglers in the name of the inflated economy. You call out the “pissant” crafters. You tell us to go get a real life? All I can say is if I was a Intrepid Smuggler, I'd avoid slicing for you. Sounds as if you don't want to associate with "Jerkoffs" or "Pissants". Since you waved your post at Smugglers in general, I guess that includes me. Thats okay, I've been called worse names.
Are you still a Smuggler? Then read the last line on the paragraph below. Thats for you.
As far as what I charge to slice, I charge 10k. This is more as a deterrent because I am busy doing the things I want to do. I have enough credits and other ventures to keep my character well off. To those who’s sole source of income is slicing, I say charge what you want. You are running a business, do what you need to do to be successful.
