Hehe, you just said it though Wes. That's my main point of contention with the actual "fix". It should have come with the CURB.

I understand their need to, I disagree with the way they went about it, and the fact that we are now the only ones that are being "fixed" prior to the CURB.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

It seems to me now would be a good time to lift that NDA at least as it pertains to FD. I know it is not your desicion Wes, but with out information and looking at how the recent nerf went down, we are only going to assume the worst.

QFE -- If that is the case (that any changes or replacements to FD are CU features) then this change SHOULD have been implemented with the CURB. Bottom line. OR failing that, they should have made at least SOME effort at giving the Smuggler a replacement move after taking this one away in PVP.

Again -- don't smugglers have to go Special Forces (overt) to sell faction? This is one of three ways smugglers make their living. FD was useful to the pure smuggler selling faction.

Someone somewhere else on this forum recently posted that you do not have to go special forces to sell faction. That would be good, in view of the removal of FD in PVP. Can we get this confirmed?

All we want is some communication. What is the plan?

Asking us to wait (not YOU, Wes, but SOE) until the Comgraderebatupbalance for a description of the plan and/or a substitute move for smugglers after taking one of three working specials away from those Smugglers who were using it in PVP (or for selling faction)... well. Can you imagine the uproar if it was any other profession besides Smuggler? Jedi, even?

Nearly ALL this uproar and angst could have been avoided had SOE simply communicated with us.
