Where can I get slicing components from?
Slicing components enter the game in the form of loot drops. These can be obtained throughout the galaxy, on the ground as well as in space. Known places that drop high end components include the Death Watch Bunker (DWB), Avatar Space Platform and the Corvette. Known specific drops include (thanks to Makris):
(Space) Tier 5 merc Ship in Dantooine: Level 4 armor upgrade pieces
(Ground) Nightsister Sentinels, Nightsister Elders (Dathomir, Stronghold) and (Tatooine) Krayt Dragons: Mandalorian Interframe, Delicate Trigger Assembly
(Space) Tier 5 and 4 Black Sun, CorSec mission spawns: Illegal core booster (3rd weapon damage slice)
(Ground) Mercenaries on Lok: Simple toolkits
(Space) Tier 4 Tie (unspecific craft) while on a duty mission
(Ground) Thugs outside Moenia, Naboo: Tier 3 slicing componets
(Space) Tier 5 Imp Gunboats, Kessel: Reactive Micro Plating and Illegal Core Boosters
They are also dropping from BH missions
ummmm...yes, thank you. I, in fact read this, and now a second time and none of the information here suggests a place to loot the piece for which I am looking. If your response was not intended in the snotty manner in which I interpretted it, then, please disregard what I wrote above, and thank you for your help.

Im not 2 sure where u could loot them from but i seem to get them more than anything else out of old AUK's (except simple kits ofc) so maybe do a vendor search on ur server for them, if any1's selling em cheap enuf you'll prolly get 1-3 of em from each full stack of AUK's,
It's good that they're still so pricey tho imo, keeps the price up for pvp slices on armour

Do these things even drop anymore? I've spent nearly all my in game time in the last 2 weeks trying to locate enough pieces to slice my Ubese...
Collected so far? 1 Piece - from the bazaar! I have spent 2 whole evenings in the Erin Siff bunker and the same hunting Corsec troopers - found nothing! I only get the high tier components from BH missions. I've also done a few Tier 4 duty missions on my Rebel and Privateer toons and found nothing...
I have to say this is driving me mad! does anyone know where else to get them? I'm almost considering dropping 3/4's of BH just so i can get some lower level loot from marks...
