Thread: How many factioned Smugglers are going for Nuetral pilot just for YT-1300

As an Imperial and a Smuggler, I'll likely go Neutral, but never own a 1300... far too cliche.
I just feel no smuggler should beflying a TIE, or at least mine wouldn't! The Alliance and Imperial "POB" ships are more interesting to me than the 1300, but between not wanting to fly a TIE and never willing to go Rebellion (though that ship is the most interesting to me a s a Smuggler's vessel... ), I'll be stuck in "Neutral". At least the Black Sun ships are interesting.
I fing it ammusing that in Beta, all 3 professions had access to the Firespray at Master, but the website lists it only as a Neutral "Special" craft. If they leave it available for all 3 Masteries, that leaves Neutral Pilot with room for 1 more ship at Master. I'd be estatic if they added a 2nd POB along with the YT-1300 at Master to rebalance and uphold the fact that larger freighters and multipassengers are supposed to be the most common.

I'm rebel going Freelance. I had Master Smuggler once and droped it. Huge mistake. I wanted PvP template(a better one) Huge Mistake. When i found out that i can be Freelance while being a part of the rebel alliance, I was stoked and went back to smuggler, even picked up Creature Handler for some RP.
Ya YT-1300 would be cool but you also have FireSpray i believe its called(salve 1) That has a cargo hold as well. Even the Hutt fighters are cool. I've been waiting for a third faction for so long that this is the closest i can get to it.
So ya i'll take a YT1300...if i can make it black with purple..

I'm a Rebel Smuggler. Even though the Falcon was my favorite ship from Star Wars I'm thinking of maybe getting either a Kimogila or Firespray because I don't really want to have to rely on having another player in the ship just so I can shoot stuff.

I would DEFINITELY be going after the YT ..... If I was buying JTL and not cancelling my SWG account in Jan. I'm so bored with JTL and the ground game, I don't know if I can be saved .... shame.

My dilemma...
Rebel Smuggler.
Fly for the Rebels, get the Nova. I didn't get to fly one in Beta, is that really the cockpit stuck way out on the side? Ew!
Fly Neutral. Join the Smugglers' Alliance. That's cool, and I get the YT1300. Every smuggler and his mother will have it and is that the cockpit over on the side? Not as bad as the Nova, but what ever happened to centerline cockpits?
Decimator. Nice looking ship, that. It's Imperial? I have how much negative Imperial faction? And I would have to work for them? Ugh.
Guess Renn will be joining the Smugglers' Alliance, getting a nice fighter for combat, maybe get a YT just for the principle (and so I can have that wonderful Smuggling Han Solo feeling thing that guy mentioned in the interview) and just travel around in the party barge (very nice inside). Renn's main ship will be "Freedom" (see why working for the Empire is bad for Renn?)
Joraan will be joining the Tatooine Rebel Squadron, getting a nice fighter for combat, maybe get the Nova, and travel around in the party barge (did I say how nice it was inside there?). Joraan's main ship will be "Defender".

i'm going neutral..but not for the yt-1300.
the hutt fighters and the chance to get a firespray are what it's all aboot for me

Count me in. I like the X-wing but I have always wanted a YT-1300 and the lure of the Smuggler's Alliance to much.
I can always have my crafter alt fly for the rebellion. The plus side of no skill points.

hmm i want them all.
On my Smuggler on Europe-chimeara(rebel) i am going rebel pilot,
and on my other char on intrepid i am going imp.
The reason i am going reb is because i heard that privateer is really hard, and because i like the reb fightes better than the privateer fightes(but i like imp fighters even more, but i guess my guild would not allow that :smileyvery-happy
The only ship i want in privateer is the yt-1300, but i guess i must settle with the nova instead

The Firespray (Boba's ship) is in the game. Any Master Pilot can fly it and I beleive it requires looted parts to build.
